I'm getting sick of seeing people undermine and invalidate leon's trauma tied to RC and saying he didn't deserve to be in re9 just because he didn't live there. Everything that's happened to him up to re9 has been because of the RC incident. People are acting as if the events of re2 is the only trauma he's experienced out of this entire thing and not the main cause of every other trauma he's experienced afterwards :/

I just can't take that shit seriously because it's such a stupid ass take that I have to wonder how the hell those people made it this far in life-- dumb luck, I guess.

But to me, it seems like they're boiling it down to "Leon is upset because the city went to hell," which just showcases a fundamental lack of comprehension because it was never really about the city, it was about the people. All the people that died. All the people that he couldn't save. And then people will go "oh but he didn't know them," and it's like do you possess even a hint of empathy or humanity at all? You don't have to have known someone to be traumatized by their death, especially when it was in such a violent manner. That's not how trauma works, its not how PTSD works, and saying otherwise is simply ridiculous, I'm gonna call it what it is.
