Only picture I took of my work today was while I was in progress. One of my neighbors is this really sweet lady named Ms. Gina. Now, Ms. Gina owns two houses on my block, and has been struggling to find someone to mow the lawn at what we affectionately refer to as The Big House. The Big House has a double lot, meaning it’s a lot of yard to upkeep on the regular. Last week, I did a rough chop with a weed whacker I borrowed from my buddy @djrosieh . Today, after doing some weed whacking in my own yard, I packed up most of the batteries I had, grabbed my weed whacker and lawn mower, and walked up to get that handled. Five hours later, I finally finished. It’s a lot of yard for one person to tackle on their own, let alone Ms. Gina. Last night, my @steelmadeusa cover board was delivered, so I could finally set up my new flat top! I sprung for the junior one, since my oven has five burners. The walnut cover board looks beautiful with the current color scheme in the kitchen. One day I suspect I’ll update the lower cabinet color, but until then 🤷🏾‍♂️ Can’t wait to put this thing in action this weekend.
