Iām actually really eager for 2016. I know time isnāt real & we all die, but an imaginary fresh start feels nice
To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure.

Itās OK to be upset about the death of Alan Rickman
Iāve seen posts and comments saying things likeĀ āyou didnāt even know him, donāt be upsetā, and things like that.Ā
Please realizeā¦
Harry Potter (or other Alan Rickman movies or theatre), is associated with thousands of childhoods. Thousands of memories. For me, Alan Rickman reminds me of the time I first saw Harry Potter. How I wanted to be a wizard when I was a kid and my parents bought me little glass bottles that looked like the potion bottles kept in Snapeās classroom. How It became a tradition, every time a Potter movie would come out, Iād first go see it with my father. How I can still hear that iconic voice in my head, how Snapeās character is one of the most complex and debated in the series.Ā
So, yes, Iām upset by his death, because so many of my childhood memories include him in them. Having father-daughter time at the movies. Hanging up Harry Potter posters in my room. Crying like a baby during Snapes death scene, because not only was it emotional, it was the last movie-meaning my times of going to see Harry Potter for the first time with my dad, were over.Ā
So please do not make fun of people for being sad.Ā
Death comes for all of us at some point.
RIP Alan Rickman Thank you for a wonderful childhood.
