I bought a pattern on Etsy from Crochet.by.ellen for The Bubble Basket. It is my first attempt at making anything other than blankets, scarfs and a beanie. When working on this pattern I had to ask my Facebook group what one of the instructions was as I had never seen or used it before. The half double crochet decrease in US terminology. The basket worked up fast and the pattern was relatively easy to follow, the hardest part was actually remembering where in the repeat you were. I have never used a magic circle before and it was quite difficult to get right, I had to watch multiple videos on YouTube before I got the placement of the yarn correct for the magic circle to work.
