In my head, when they get older, Pacifica is still…a bit snooty, but she becomes friends with them and will sometimes get called in to help the Pine twins on their mystery cases. She’ll never admit it outloud of course, but she has a massive crush on oblivious Dipper and Mabel is probably one of her closes friends at this point.

Grunkle Stan and Stanford help the twins sheriff the supernatural probably in the FBI or something and bc of that, they are away from the Mystery Shack for periods of time, so that’s why Mabel’s calling. Bill got away, he just got knocked out of Dipper…WALP
