Hearing footsteps, Mariah pressed her face into her arm. She couldn’t deal with others right now– she just wanted to be alone. She waited silently, hoping whoever had stepped in would leave, but to no avail, it didn’t seem like it. She quickly ripped out a piece of paper from a notebook and scribbled down a note for them, before crumpling it and whipping it in their direction.

Jaden picked up the piece of paper before reading it quickly. He folded up the piece of paper before replying. "It me." he said before realsing that she probably didn't know who he was since he was still so new to Serenity. "I'm Jaden."

I don't see how a lot of the time. I mean, I can't even do simple things anymore. Like, going outside when it's sunny but I guess it could be worse.

I woke up feeling depressed today. I don’t know how I feel about that. The only thing I do know is that I don’t really care about getting better anymore. I’ve already accepted that I’m not.

What makes you think that you’re not going to get better? Everyone has the potential of getting better.

So Serenity is different to what I was expecting.. But it’s great to be here and be able to get stuck in…just as soon as I find my office.
