But why is there the need to put an hourglass figure in fucking armour, the belly part could be just as big as the damn chest or hip part, why would it suddenly get so tight there

Actually, since Bridgette’s armor is based on late medieval plate armor, the hourglass makes sense. 

This is an actual breastplate styled after the late medieval style. Note the extremely defined hourglass shape. This is, I believe, (and really, I’m not an expert on armor so forgive me if I’m wrong) to direct force from bladed weapons into the hipbones and away from the internal organs. A would to the hip would, in terms of medieval medicine, be way less likely to kill you than a wound to the visceral organs sitting right above the waist. So yeah, the hourglass does make sense given the inspiration for her armor.
