The big trip: they DESERVED it.

a defense of hawkodile.

For some reason, the big trip is seen as one of, if not THE, worst episode of the show. After watching it, there are FAR worse episodes in the show (camp unikitty, bugging out, old lady bodyguard, ice pop factory)

“hawkodile was too harsh” they say, “the pee pee dance was cringe” they say, which okay yeah i actually agree with that. BUT EVERYTHING ELSE I WILL DEFEND.

Basically, every year the gang have an annual vacation. For hawkodile, that means every year he has to take care of EVERYTHING, pictures, carrying the bags, finding bathrooms. AND IT IS SHOWN HE GETS NO HELP AT ALL!!! not even from richard seemingly!!! He can’t fully enjoy the vacations because the gang puts him through the torture nexus.

The gang should learn how to take care and look after themselves and not put everything onto hawkodile, he deserves to have fun too. So hawkodile being the smart, amazing, hot, athletic butch lesbian he is, he sets up a training course on how to do vacations or whatever idk🩷

The first part is simple and helpful, learn how to take photos themselves instead of making hawkodile do everything for them. Not much to say there.

Now… this is where it starts to get controversial among fans. gut of steel part of this course is when things get ACTUALLY intense. But this intensity is just what the gang deserve after putting hawkodile through an annual torture labyrinth. I think hawkodile deserved to finally snap and make the others go through the hell he has to endure EVERY year, instead of relaxing and having fun with his besties.

This course is half learning how to take care of themselves on vacation and half rightful revenge from hawkodile basically.

this part fucking sucks.

Okay, was this whole part just a little TOO much? Yes… but i also still believe that this is what the gang needed. Vacations and bathroom breaks can be hell on earth and unpredictable, and the gang HAVE to face that reality and not, again, load it all onto hawkodile.

and it okay they go to bathroom anyway IM TOO TIRED TO FINISH THIS DAMN POST anyways final statement: hawkodile should be allowed to lose his shit once in a while the end
