I can't remember the last time a TV show felt so like family, like community, like that is my place and those are my people and much as A league of their own did. It's so beautiful and thoughtful and immersive and a thousand different words I can't think of right now because I can only say PERFECT and I'm not even talking about the romance which I could talk about for hours. How can I go back to shows with no lesbian rep, no sense of community, limited or no diversity where there's one character with 3 lines and maybe the authors hint at them being LGBTQ+ after the show ended? There's no going back now that I know that there's shows like aloto out there and I'm so glad for it.

im still so mad tho im mad about rizzles about swan queen about bering and wells about so many non-canon wlw ships because even tho we are starting to see more queer representation we still dont get slow burn relationships we get a few episode arc and then they hook up we dont get castle and beckett or booth and bones we dont get two characters finding a deep love over time we never get this we just get instant girlfriends or long term queerbaiting and im fucking sick of it im not satisfied with most canon wlw couples because they dont often get epic falling-in-love stories and i want that romantic shit

So, about the Xena episode "Send in the Clones." An absolute crackfic of a canon episode.

Taken as written, it results in English-speaking clones of Xena and Gabrielle running around with only-slightly-crooked memories of their ancient Greek lives and without social security numbers. Living in the same time and country as their reincarnations and original souls, who also remember that life. (And who do Batman stuff.)

What did the clones get up to after that? No one even writes fic about this.

Did they go off the grid and live off the land?

Do you think they went out to cattle country and got picked up as cash-paid horse trainers or carers? Did Xena join the rodeo circuit?

Did they join the circus or Renaissance fair folk as traveling performers?!

Or Medieval Times dinner and show actors?
