I had a thought- about regect saying he doesn’t have parents, but is cousins with Ptolemy from monsterfuckerarg.
How would that even work with no family members to connect them? Well..
Seeing as Ptolemy isn’t that good at scaring players either, judging by how down bad smitten Msak__ is with him, he’s most likely also an outcast by the other arg entity’s. And way before Z, Moe, or Msak__ came around Regect and Ptolemy were.. alone.
No family, no friends, just the other outcast that’s been rejected like them. Two losers that can’t scare the players. They most likely didn’t like each other back then, just like they bicker today. But when there’s only one other person hanging around, why not indulge in a little bit of comfort?
They are not friends, god no. But they are connected in a way with the mutual understanding of being rejected by others. So, family? They aren’t close, so not brothers. But they could be distant cousins? Yeah, Cousins. That could work…
this makes even more sense with the reveal that regect is/was a part of the eyes. this guy dose not have a family (outside of the eyes if we count that)
and Ptolemy was some kind of experiment (? I think that was implied with the document that was linked in part 14?) so he doesn't have any traditional family either

Hello A ReGect community uh THEORY. ABOUT THE LATEST EPISODE. SPOILERS BELOW OR SOMETHING YEAH
I find this really, really interesting. So one, no duh it’s a poem. The important questions are, who wrote this, who is the person this author was trying to protect, who are The Innocent, and who is SIAEBANPSC. And I think I have an answer for all of them.
The author is Dr. Thatcher, and the person the author is trying to protect is Micha. NOW NOW! Hear me out. I had originally thought this was ReGect, but looking back with the lore in mind, it’s changed. The original link that sent you to Micha’s death file was in DownUnderisode, on the sign in front of Micha’s hospital, correct? Well, the link was called “HADTOBEDONE” on the hospital website. It had to be done. Micha’s death had to be done. Before this video, I had originally thought someone ordered Thatcher to kill Micha. He didn’t want to, but had to. But my predictions have changed now. “I tried to save him, it was the only way. I regret what I did, I regret it everyday.” ‘Save him.’ ‘It was the only way.’ Where else do we hear it’s the only way? The link to Micha’s death file. Thatcher was protecting Micha by injecting him with the 700mgs of insulin.
The Innocent are the Down Under victims, and SIAEBANPSC (looks to be some sort of cipher?) is a stand in for The Eyes. “A place that is vast and infinitesimal at once. Where The Innocent are led, and where SIAEBANPSC hunts.” Where else do we know is vast and infinitesimal? A realm that has full control over it’s victims, LEADS its victims, and is controlled by a hostile entity that hunts? The Down Under. If this is written by Dr. Thatcher, this means he knew about the Down Under. And connecting back to the theory of him protecting Micha, he must’ve known Micha was trapped. He killed Micha. To spare him. Because he knew how dangerous The Eyes are, and knew Micha would get preyed on. And this is his warning for anyone reading to never pursue the Down Under.

A Regect and MFARG Fandom hear my plea! Please tell me if anyone else hcs Regect as the older cousin and Ptolemy as the younger, I can’t be the only one ˶ˊᜊˋ˶
Not only would it be hilarious, esp bc the younger sibling is typically the tallest, but the recent AReGect ep affirms this for me. Regect was willing to walk away from the Eyes before it insulted Micha, Ptolemy was intensely protective of Msak on tumblr- using very threatening language on harmless asks. When Regect is alone, he is relatively calm and even pessimistic when he sees Michas build, saying if only it was that easy. It really gives off the vibe that he has an old soul, even if he’s a dumbass/goofball. Also, when Ptolemy was alone and made a crappy build, he instantly blew it up- the most destructive and impulsive way of tearing the build down. Regect is the more mature one at the end of the day, trust.
So near the end of the new episode (S2 Part 2: Path Forward), we got a few seconds of Regect looking down the hole with the Eyes staring right back (which I'm absolutely EATING UP by the way HOLY MOLY) Something that stood out to me is the background audio.
Several theories mentioned that the entire Down Under could be the Eyes itself, and it's quite possible. From the hole we can hear something growling and bubbling. Continuing the idea of the Eyes being an entity that "feeds" on players, the entire underground structure of this ARG world could very much be alive and even be considered the "stomach" of this entity.

This is the perfect time to mention one of my favorite A REGECT theories by twitter/X user Fester (@/TheWateris_Fine): aka the "Saturn Devouring His Son" theory or the "Project Z: Ze is Zeus" theory. This is a call back to the Francisco Goya black painting that appeared wayyyy back in Season 1 Part 4 in Regect's museum. There are several things of note: Ze said that it is one of his favorite paintings, Regect confirmed he didn't put the painting there/has never seen it before, and Regect went off looking for it after the painting ran away. But the duo was eventually distracted by pirates.
A quick summary of Fester's theory is the concept of the Eyes devouring players like how Kronos/Saturn, the titan, devoured his children, the first Olympian gods, out of fear of being overthrown. In this case, Ze, our ARG protagonist, would take the role of Zeus who eventually rises up to trick/poison Saturn and rescue the others. Fester theorizes this could be the end goal of "Project Z," a plan headed by Dr. Thatcher to use Ze as bait to get closer to the Eyes and kill the malevolent entity (hence Dr. T and the Eyes working against each other on opposite sides).
Although the medical record we previously got confirmed Micah's death, the Eyes said something very interesting at the end of the Valentines episode:
"He's still there. They all are. The Down Under is forever."
This statement contradicts the medical record, but a big possibility is that Micah, along with all of the Eyes' past victims, are indeed kept "alive," albeit only digitally for the sole purpose of keeping the entity fed. Without the Eyes, they will all finally perish and cease to exist.
Which brings me to an additional theory...we need to address the huge elephant in the room. Regect definitely knows more than he is letting on. It is then entirely possible that the Eyes struck a deal of some sort with Regect using Schrödinger's Micah as a bargaining chip. (It's also interesting that in many of the earlier parts of Season 1, Regect would keep bringing/luring Ze underground.) I can see this as an explanation for how the Eyes blackmail Regect, a much more pathetic (but still reasonably powerful) entity, into helping it acquire more victims (aka the ANGLERFISH Theory).
...I do have to say, visually looking at the Goya painting now, the figure of Saturn and his "son" do remind me of the Eyes and Regect respectively. You see how Saturn has a huge set of eyes & the son is missing his head, arm, and some body parts...? Now what could this mean...?
