Today, I fell a million times more in love. When ya have someone who’s willing to do anything to make you happier, keep ‘em.
2015: This was my turning point year after graduating college because I finally found direction for my future. I was losing hope and patience right after I moved back home but it’s been 2 years and I thank God that my time has come.
Post-grad depression hit me hard but this year, I learned to block out the negativity, especially from my parents, focus on myself, and tell myself everything will be okay. It's true when they say your thoughts/mentality really change how you view life. I literally became my own cheerleader and continued to believe in myself when it felt like no one else did. I've had countless mental breakdowns and talks with God but I never once doubted that He was ignoring me.
I'm happy to say that this year (according to my top 9), I fell in love with my now best friend, blessed to live & celebrate another year, opportunity to cross off skydiving on my bucket list, finally visit my family in the Philippines & attend my cousin's beautiful wedding, spent quality *sometimes drunken* time with old & new friends to celebrate their birthdays and achievements, & randomly Manny Pacquiao lol. So so so many more blessings not shown in 9 pictures but I'm content with 2015. It was a learning experience and I'm proud to see how much I've grown - relationship-wise, friendship-wise, and adult-wise(?). Oh, and I finally started working again!
Thank you #kobeyear, we're both retiring the number at the same time lol.
2016: SO excited to start a new chapter! Starting my nursing program this summer so I'll be moving out again. Here's to my path to #2degreez and a successful year.
Every morning you wake up, do this one little thing for yourself: Thank yourself. Thank your legs for taking you to all your favorite places. Thank your arms for the heavy things it carries. Thank your eyes for the beauty it gazes. Most importantly thank your heart everyday. You woke up today and you decided to go out and live.

Never wait around for a boy, he’ll come to you. Sometimes you need to be busy too, just to let him know that the sun doesn’t rise and shine over him.

Change your mindset. Educate yourself. Stay positive. Cut shitty people off. Eat healthy. Focus on your goals. Spend some time alone. Read books. Drink more water. Take care of your skin.
