“Jake!” she laughed as she felt herself being pulled into the pool. He kissed her, and she returned his kiss in the Indian moonlight. She barely had time to catch her breath when he took her underwater. She held on tightly to him, keeping her legs wrapped around his body. She was thankful that it was just the two of them tonight, or else others might have been complaining about the noise levels that was coming from her. As the resurfaced, she kissed him again. “I hope our honeymoon is turning around for you, baby,” she whispered against his lips. “I am so sorry that it turned bad over these last few days.”
He swam with her underwater, smiling when she wrapped her legs around him, pulling her closer. Jake watched as she resurfaced, flinging her hair back like she was the Little Mermaid. Laughing silently to himself with the thought. Kissing her back, he pulled her closer, looking into her crystal blue eyes. Jake pulled away slightly, shaking his head and mouthed. "It's not your fault. Sometimes I feel like you are the only person I have." He leans in close and whispers in her ear, "I can't lose you, Brooke." Kisses her cheek softly and trails kisses down towards her lips, kissing her again, sweetly at first then harder and deeper, pulling her body tighter against him.

Brooke watched her husband jump into the water. It was cool, but not cold. She sat at the side, looking at him, smiling as he approached her. That smile turned into laughter as he tickled her feet. “Jake! Jake!” she managed to say in between giggles. He knew that she was ticklish, and he occasionally used that knowledge for his benefit. “Meanie,” she said when he finally stopped, smiling at him. She returned his kiss and smiled back at him. He had come a long way from how he was three days ago. He didn’t even seem to recognize her back then. “I’m proud of my husband,” she said fondly.
Jake was thankful that while Brooke was ticklish, she wasn't one of those that hated being tickled. Though, it could have been simply because he knew when to stop. He pouted slightly when she called him meanie, but turned it into a smirk as he walked up to her. Giving her a look that said why, he looked at her. Moving closer, he put his hands on her waist and lifted her up and pulled her into the pool, wrapping his arms around her, and kissing her again, before going underwater.

Brooke took his hand as they walked out the back. “Do you still want to see a doctor tomorrow?” she asked him. He had been doing better, but before leaving Goa, the medical personnel at the hotel advised that he see a doctor in Mumbai if his condition didn’t improve. However, since it had improved, Brooke didn’t know if a visit to the doctor was still necessary. As they reached the pool, Brooke kicked her flip-flops off and sat at the edge, dipping her feet in the water. The pool lights made her silver-painted toenails shimmer. “I’m glad you’re feeling better,” she smiled at Jake. It was true, she didn’t like seeing him upset, especially not on a honeymoon that they were supposed to be enjoying.
Jake paused at her question, his brow furrowing slightly. Did he want to go to the doctor? No, but he thought he probably should, so he nodded yes, but sighed, hoping Brooke would understand. Communication had been hard between them and Jake knew that if was anyone besides Brooke that had to understand him, he would have been screwed. But Brooke understand Jake, the way he thought, his mannerisms. Jumping into the water, he watched her toe nails in the light before grabbing them and tickling her gently. Moving between her legs, he smiled and nodded, mouthing "me too" and kissed her sweetly.

The newlyweds had arrived in Mumbai the day before. Although they had intended to spend their whole honeymoon in Goa, it had become like a prison for them with the recent series of events. Jake had gone into a catatonic state and, being far away from home and all alone in India. The past three days had been tough, with Jake being unresponsive and seemingly suffering from memory loss. However, today he finally said some words. His first words were after the couple had sex, and they were, “I pale in comparison to your beauty, my love”. Brooke and Jake were getting ready for a night of relaxation by the pool in their hotel. “Ready?” she asked him, dressed in a green bikini.
Jake was certainly feeling better than he was in Goa. He wasn't sure if it was the change of scenery that made him feel better or if he was just working through his issues but he was starting to feel freer. He was actually to talk a bit today though he really had to push himself and made him mentally exhausted so he still preferred to write or mouth things. He knew he couldn't ruin the honeymoon for Brooke and pushed himself as hard as he could to be his normal self, including them having sex. The sex had been great. though he couldn't deny he had been a bit worried about it. More than anything Jake just wanted things to be normal, though he wasn't sure what normal was anymore. Just because he couldn't speak well didn't mean their honeymoon had to be a flop and they decided to head down to the pool for a bit of night swimming. Nodding, he took her hand and walked down towards the pool.

You’re acting like a child right now, Jake. I don’t know what happened but the word bitch carries a lot more meaning behind it and offense than asshole, Jake. Also, how would you like it if I called Brooke a bitch in front of everyone anddo not say it’s different just because you two are fucking married. The one thing Adrienne is not, is a bitch.
I guess its good you are no longer friends with a child then.
You have to call her a bitch? Really? You’re comparing her to a female dog, Jake. I don’t know what she did, or you but Adrienne’s not a bitch.
But I am an asshole? Thanks Shane. Really. It's been so nice talking to you.
