It started with Walter Reine, the son of one of the richest men in the city. Then it was Ada Moore, one of the city’s local librarians. Eliza’s friends are all going missing, and she plans to find them- but what she doesn’t know is that she’s up against the supernatural in 1948 New York.

Emergency Casting for Lesser Evils (Ensemble Role)

Unfortunately, one of our ensemble members has dropped out of production and we are looking for one new cast member! Auditions close July 31, with the first recording date being August 1. Details for audition under cut.

Kind of confused, is the Tumblr cast page going to be updated before emails are sent out? Cause you said the cast list would be posted at the end of the casting window. Sorry, just a little confused

The casting window is closed, but in order to make sure that everyone who has been offered a role takes the role (ensuring a full cast), the list won’t be sent out until June 13 or whenever all of the roles are cast, whichever comes first. But the cast list (which is being worked on right now) will be updated as roles are accepted.

Not to be a bother, but would there be a way you could list which roles have been cast already?

Since auditions have closed, we’ve been in the process of going through auditions and offering roles. For the sake of easier access, we’ve decided to release the cast list all at once, but we’re working on a cast page on our tumblr that we’re trying to update as we finalize roles- that’s probably your best bet.

I've updated my recording studio a bunch since sending in my audition. Should I rerecord so you hear better audio or should I just hope that it was good enough before? Thanks!

If you have the time to, I would suggest it. As we are an amateur production and can’t supply better mics, part of the auditioning process is looking at audio quality. However, I wouldn’t stress too much if you don’t have the time to. Thanks for your interest!

Updates on Auditioning!

Hey everyone! As we get closer to the end of auditions, I just want to inform you all about what’s going to happen in terms of casting notifications:

Emails/messages confirming casting will start to go out June 2, and will end upon the final release of the cast list- which will come out June 13 at the latest.

Unfortunately, if you’re not cast, you will not get email confirmation, due to the fact that not everyone sent in submissions by email.

Casting Call Club Specific Updates:

Casting will not be done the usual way it’s done on CCC (that is, by closing roles). This is because likely, not everyone cast will have auditioned on CCC.

You will be notified of casting by getting a direct message from me. After that, I’ll need your email for better contact.

DO NOT REPLY TO MESSAGES ON CCC- if you have to respond to a message I sent to you, please do it at [email protected].

Do you send any kind of auto confirmation that our audition has been received? I'm wondering whether I should be concerned that I haven't received confirmation of receipt. If you don't send confirmation, that's fine, that addresses my concern :) Thanks for creating this exciting project!
