Definitely! I just wanted to come here for the butterflies really. Long as I got to see them, I’m happy.

Oh, uuuh... Yeah... Yeah I think maybe we could actually! Although we don’t have as many butterflies around, so we probably can’t do our own butterfly event. But we do have birds. Lots of them, just standing around town. Maybe we could do something with them. Like... Whoever can sneak up and catch the most within a certain time limit or something.

I’m up soon so I guess we’ll see about that! To be completely honest though, I’m happy with whatever I end up placing as long as this gets Selphia more publicity.

If you could trade getting your memory back but losing the you that you've become today, would you take it?

[ Though he tries to hide his discomfort when confronted, the topic of his lost memories is a touchy subject, even years after. His lips press together and his eyes avert. ]

Losing who I’ve become… [ He rubs his finger under his nose a few times before he sniffs. ]

I mean, I’d love to have the memories of my past back. It’s like, uuh… the missing piece to a puzzle I’m working on, you know? But if the price of regaining my memories came with giving up who I’ve become today… [ A shake of the head. ]

W-well, there’s no harm in leaving a puzzle unfinished, right? [ A nervous laugh, though his mood has lifted. ]

Plus, who knows what kind of guy I was like before. I could have been a… a jerk for all I know. Been in a bad place or something. Selphia could have been the better choice! [ Could, he says, but in reality, even if he had a ‘better’ life prior, he’d be more willing to give it up to continue his life in this town. The town full of friends he’s thankful to have, and the town he’s proud to represent. ]

I’m… content being who– and where– I am now. Yeah.

Haunted House [ Lest - Dylas ]

       “Well, here we are..!” 

       Lest stood at the entrance of Obsidian Mansion, staring up at the building in both awe and nervousness. He had taken a request that morning to find two pieces of both Spider’s Thread and Ghost Hood for the requester and even if it was intentional, he was still thankful both could be found in the same area. Of course, the problem here rested where the items could be found. 

       The prince never really did like coming to Obsidian Mansion all that much. Unlike a certain knight back in town, his reasons weren’t rooted into a fear of phasmophobia. No, they were much worse. Ghost had nothing when it came to spiders. Those things creeped the heck out of him, and yet here he was, taking on a job that required him to get up close to one and touch it to beat it up for its thread. 

       Curse his helpful nature and inability to say no when someone asks for help. 

       Of course, his arachnophobia sometimes would render him... unable to get up close to said arachnids. He’d need help. As much as he’d have liked to take their local knight out with him... there was still her phasmophobia and he really didn’t want to subject her to ghosts if he didn’t absolutely have to. Frey would have been his next pick, but she was busy for the day. The butlers came next, but like Frey they were much too busy. 

      Ultimately he decided to ask Dylas if he’d like to come along, to which his offer was thankfully taken. He’d been wanting to hang out with Dylas lately anyway, so this would be a good time as ever for that! Speaking of Dylas... 

       “All right, we’re here for Spider’s Thread and Ghost Hoods,” Lest spoke up, turning to face his companion. He clapped his Bear Claws together and looked up at Dylas. “I dunno if you’ve been in here before, b-but this place is filled with spooky gooblies and creepy crawly’s and uh... trap...py... traps and whatnot. S-so be on your guard!” With that warning out of the way, he took off one of his Bear Claws and held out his hand in a fist, smiling. “Ready to kick some butt, dude? Heh heh.”

A month ago, I think? I took care of it, though. socked him right in the face when I found him!

Although…

I guess I didn’t scare him enough, considering he’s still out stealing things.

/She rolls her shoulders back, sitting up slightly straighter afterwards/ I guess we could? I mean, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind too much. But if he puts you in another dress- /Shakes her head/ I wont have it! You don’t have to subject yourself to that if you don’t want to, Lest. We’ll think of another way to help out.

It might have some truth here... He just better stay away from the castle. Else he’ll be dealing with me as well.

/shakes his head/ N-nah, it’s a-all right! It’s for a good cause so I... don’t mind. And I look cute in them too! So that’s... an upside, I guess. Haha...

Village Tour || Tina & Lest

“Selphia…..Norad Kingdom…?” Hand reaching up to her face, she thought if she had heard the name before but no memory of it surfaced. “Never heard of it!” Smile still not going away from her face, she looked at the other properly, listening to his ramblings. “I’ve never been here at all, it’s my first time.” Arms hanging next to her, Tina started to shuffle about in her bag again. This time she taking out her notepad and pen.

“Well if it’s alright with you, is it okay if you lead me around? A tour of the town would be great!” Asking rather shamelessly, Tina was really interested in this new area and in the stories she could possibly write for her next article.

       “Huh, really?” Lest blinked with surprise when the woman told him she hadn’t heard of the kingdom before. Selphia, he’d understand. The entire kingdom? “You must be from far away if you’ve never heard of Norad Kingdom,” he commented before watching her take out a couple items from her bag. 

       “Yeah, t-that’s no problem at all!” Luckily Lest didn’t have anything urgent to do at the moment so he had no issues with guiding someone around town for a bit. If anything did come up, he could just call over Forte and have her take over the tour. He held out his hand and politely smiled. “First of all, welcome to Selphia, miss! I’m Lest, current prince of this town and your tour guide for the day,” he greeted, adding him being her guide as a bit of humor.

☆ [ Lest - Will ]

       Well this was an unusual sight. 

       Lest had been in the middle of tilling the soil out in the fields of his farm when he heard the sound of propellers towards the nearby airship dock. Thinking it may have been someone returning from using the airship ( he hadn’t gone past the docks all last night or early that day so he wasn’t sure if the airship was still there or not ) he thought he’d go say hello and offer nay help if needed. He kept his hoe in hand though as he headed towards the docks.

       Selphia’s main airship was there, yes. But so was a second one that had no familiarity to him whatsoever. This was the first time someone else came around with their own... It was hovering next to the main airship, so the prince hopped on board and hurried over to the other side. A man was standing on board the other airship, so Lest waved and leaned against a railing.

       “Excuse me! I-Is everything okay, sir?”

He did! He stole from the castle and made Volkanon cry!

/frowns, shaking her head/ And now this – absolutely unforgivable. 

…Thanks though. For not blaming me. I just hope that Selphia doesn’t get bad press or anything.

/droops his head down a bit/ Dude, that’s just cruel, making a grown man cry... Poor Volkanon.

/squeezes Frey’s shoulder/ Well, that guy stole from the town, so it wasn’t without its roots... What a jerk. /scratches his cheek/ Even if it does, we can just uh, bug Arthur to help getting more tourists and get our rep back up! He’s good at that stuff!

/mumbles with hesitation/ ...Even if I have to wear more dresses...

Village Tour || Tina & Lest

Bringing the camera down from in front of her eyes, Tina stared at the other surprised. “Ah- Thank you!” Gratefully accepting the flower, Tina smiled widely. Placing the camera back into her bag along with the flower which she then carefully wrapped and flattened between notepads, she turned to face the male in front of her properly.

“I just have a question. Where is this place exactly? I just happened to stumble over it, but it’s so pretty here!” Her voice upbeat and excited, she couldn’t wait to write something about the beautiful town.

       Giving a light hum in response to her thanks, Lest slid the basket off his shoulder in favor of holding it instead. Normally he’d give the flowers out to the other townsfolk instead of tourists and his offering... was more or less an act of nervous impulse. Having noticed she had her attention on him at that moment, he felt like he should say something but didn’t know what to say exactly... at least she accepted the flower, so he was relieved about that. 

       “This is Selphia! A part of the Norad Kingdom.” Lest responded. “This town has some nice scenery, yeah! I especially love the sights around Dragon Lake... have you been there yet? If not, I can show you there-- i-if you want I mean. Or if you have questions about the town I can answer them too.” Realizing he was starting to ramble, he stopped talking and kept up a light smile.
