Oh, for fuck’s sake.
“Excuse me? You fucked up, okay? I am trying to fix things up. So shut up now.”
“Have you forgotten yourself, Aly?” Bella snipped, narrowing her eyes slightly. “Watch it.”

Oh, for fuck’s sake.
“Excuse me? You fucked up, okay? I am trying to fix things up. So shut up now.”
“Have you forgotten yourself, Aly?” Bella snipped, narrowing her eyes slightly. “Watch it.”
Oh, for fuck’s sake.
Okay, Bella, I love you, but I’m the one making breakfast. I know what I’m doing. It’s just a little chaotic in here.
Whatever. Just clean up the mess.
Oh, for fuck’s sake.
“It’s alright, Bells. We’ll just go to a different shop..”
“No, she’s an absolute wench and she ought to fix her mistake,” Bella sneered, craning her neck to look past Emma and at the clerk. “Find your manager.”

3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?
Bella has been a part of a very strenuous fitness program lead by two incredibly challenging coaches named Lyra and Achilles for the last four years.
19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
The way Rodolphus spends more time in his office than usual lately. The deathlike silence of the hills around them. The storm brewing on the horizon. The unsettled feeling in the house these days.
21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs?
Turn ons: hair pulling, neck biting, possessive whispers, being swept away and ravished while hiding in plain sight.
Turn offs: Spilling tea on the floor for the third time this month. What are you, an animal? Were you raised in the stables or something? Honestly..
25: How do they see themselves 5 years from today?
Taking the twins to pick out their first broomsticks and helping them learn to fly. Picking on Rodolphus for the grey streak he’s developed over his temple.
26: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?
Raise decent children in a world that begs them to be too much of one thing or another. There is no contingency plan, because the failure of this plan would be her absolute demise.
27: What is their biggest regret?
Wasting so much time being angry instead of being in love.
28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
Naturally, her husband is her closest companion. But Evan has been her best friend all of her life and she has never had anyone else like him. Bella has no declared enemies, though she would not be likely to consider her cousin, Eilwen, very high on her list of friends.
31: Most prized possession?
The pearl ring that Rodolphus gave her for her birthday nearly a decade ago.
45: Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?
Words.
46: If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?
Tall, dark, devilishly handsome. The kind of man that can steal your breath in a kiss and your heart in a whisper. He is strong and intimidating, and in her arms, he melts.
49: Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?
Incredibly. Bella fears firstly for the well being of all of those around her, and secondly for herself, facing whatever awaits her in the afterlife.
Oh, for fuck’s sake.
*She rolls her eyes* Why…… are we even knitting in the first place? You never explained that part.
Because I wanted one of those little sweaters like you have for Dora. This was your idea, anyhow!
Oh, for fuck’s sake.
Bella, I told you. I really don’t know how to knit!
[she held up the ragged, three-armed excuse of a sweater] Clearly.
If I Didn’t Believe In You || AU
It snowed that day. He stood rigid, somber, hands clasped before him as the dusts of white peppered the all black congregation. The cries around him were almost too painful to register, his eyes remaining on one figure as they spoke their prayers, a few large snowflakes clinging to the tendrils of dark hair cascading across her shoulders.
He’d followed her all over the world and it was in England that he would finally see her, unknown to her behind his mask but feeling her all the same. It disgusted him, how he had used the death of her husband as an excuse to show his face, but he allowed himself to step closer all the same.
Each step was a reminder of how little she wanted to see him, and before he reached her, he stopped, leaving distance between them as the priest ushered them forward.
The last few prayers were said, Rodolphus watching her bend and whisper her final words to her beloved, and as she stood and turned, he cowardly thanked the gods she couldn’t recognize him.
There was still poetry in her features but she’d allowed Apollo’s loss to destroy her, what sleep she had missed etched in the grasp of her hands and the swelling of her eyes. She was out of place, lost, her glances missing him entirely before she returned her eyes forward, moving a hand to wipe at her cheeks. Had this been another encounter, she would have seen through whatever safety charms he’d used to avoid recognition.
Time moved in an excruciating pace, those that had witnessed the burial trickling away until only they remained. The silence between them was heavier than he could have imagined, and before he had summed up the courage to approach her, she began to move away from the headstone. The steps between them were long but she’d reached him, Bella rising her head and hesitating. She looked confused, but soon after she shook her head and continued, running her hands tiredly through her hair before she, too, disappeared.
Rodolphus ran his hands over his face, the charms trickling away until he was in his purest form, feeling the hammer of his heart as he faced the man that had cared for her all these years.
She would call him dispicable for being there, as she should, but he believed in what he was doing, in his gratitude to the fallen soldier they both appreciated in their own way.
“Thank you,” he said quietly, resting his hand on the headstone and watching as vines of moonflowers wound their way around his name. “We won’t forget you.”

The familiar grounds beckoned him and he felt no shame at knowing the courtyard so well. The large door had shown itself in the hundreds of pictures he’d taken, the space usually occupied by Bella or Apollo himself, and he didn’t believe he’d find himself before it so soon.
He stood for what seemed like hours before he allowed his hand to rise.
It was late, she would be sleeping.
Not a moment passed before he quickly turned, walking back down the steps. This wasn’t the time for this. He’d come back later.
But the door opened and he turned suddenly, face to face with the woman he’d been following for the better part of the decade.
“What the fuck are you doing here?”
Rodolphus felt his breath catch in his throat.
He stepped forward, closing a majority of the distance between them until they were eye level, knowing so suddenly how out of place he truly was.
“Bella…” The name sounded so foreign. “I’m sorry.”
Those eyes like ice sliced through her as cold as the frigid night air that surrounded them. How had he found her? Why had he tracked her down? A panic settled over her quickly, her grip tightening on her wand. She realized, for the first time since the funeral, that she was truly alone in the world now.
Bella had never felt smaller in her life. She stood in front of him, tired, thin, and pale from grief, her now-more-pronounced cheekbones shining out from under dark circles. She knew it even before the glimmer of disgust caught in his throat-- knew that she looked as if she had personally seen the gates of Hell.
How dare he look at her like that, like he knew her at all. His eyes seemed to drink her in, all of the shattered mess that she was. She wanted to spit and curse and fight but every fibre of her being willed her to stay still. He stepped forward and she straightened, standing taller than she had before.
Her eyes registered that his lips were moving but his words fell upon deaf ears.
“If you’ve come to gloat,” she snarled, unhearing. Her hair fell over her shoulder, thick ringlets covering half of her face as she bellowed. “Get it over with, Rodolphus. Hit me with your best shot. What more can you take from me?”
Oh, for fuck’s sake.
And you are moody now because….
[muttering to herself] Doesn’t anyone read owls anymore? [she shook her head, refocusing her attention on him] Congratulations, Master Malfoy-- seems that you’re going to be an uncle once more.
“Always those guys who simply can’t take a no for a no.” Addie sighed while slowly shaking her head. “Are there still any guys who know how to behave left?”
“I’m afraid you missed the harvest, darling,” she smirked at Addie. “The good and decent have all been married for years now.”
Oh, for fuck’s sake.
If you’d done it right the first time, we wouldn’t be having this problem.
Greece was lovely..
People don’t just run away from their fiancees for no good reason.
People flee when they feel they’ve been backed into a corner, Evan. Regardless of right or wrong, it was not her choice and you know as well as I that she has always been the freest soul of us all. She didn’t run from you, she ran to that boy, and you must take care not to mince that reasoning. Eilwen left for the very same reasons, and that’s not anyone’s fault but her own-- just as the blame here lies solely on my sister’s shoulders. Don’t you dare carry her guilt, Evan. You’ve done nothing to earn it.
Greece was lovely..
I’m not going to fail again, Bells.
Again? Surely you don’t think that you are responsible for Andromeda’s leaving?
Greece was lovely..
Leave.
No.
Greece was lovely..
[takes a step away from her, eyes searching] You think I’m going to fail again.
[she mirrored his step, making up the distance he’d placed between them] No. But I think that she’s a bigger flight risk now than ever.
Greece was lovely..
I’m different now, Bella. Don’t you see that?
Of course I do, Evan. But so is she.
Greece was lovely..
How? Huh, Bella? How?
Because we’ve been here before, Evan! We stood at this precipice and then we watched her run off with that mudblood, and now you expect me to believe that it’s all going to be different just because you caught her after a fight?!
