Hey guys, unfortunately we have some bad news. Despite my efforts to work through my current state of mind, it hasn't been possible and I can't prolong this any longer. I love this roleplay, it's my brainchild and you have all brought life to the characters beyond my wildest imagination. You are all incredible writers and I adore your writing and dedication to your characters, their plots and connections. It's why it hurts the most to have Letale close down but I have to put myself and my mental health first. I hope you understand and to end this on a positive note, thank you all so much for your love and talent. I hope we'll see each other again. Love you all<3

                            DINNER GALA: PLOT DROP #3

Lights out. The venue goes silent for a second before whispers are the only thing heard in the darkness. No one knows what’s going on. Then, the big screen in the venue turns on and everyone is mesmerised. The guests start clapping, expecting a video to come on that would delight them beyond measure. 

When a dead man shows up on the screen instead, the blood still dripping from his forehead, the terror on the people’s faces could be perceived, even when half lit up. The guests have no idea what was going on, but the Agents recognise the man in the frame: Agent Forty-Five. 

Then, a man, all dressed in black, showing nothing but his eyes begins talking. “Good night, guests. First, I’d like to apologise to the bystanders by the terror that they have witnessed and are about to witness. However, there are some among you that deserve to go through such a night.” It was obvious who he was speaking to. It had become personal. 

                               “You think yourselves as masters of SHADOWS,                                       but you don’t have the monopoly on it.                                                           Checkmate.” 

And with that last word, screams of Agent Thirty-Seven are heard in the background for a few seconds before the screen goes black. Panic ensues and people began screaming, heading for the exit. Within minutes, everyone was outside and it was time for the Agents to leave. With three of them gone and tortured, there’s only one missing... where is Agent Sixty-One?

quick question: is the director of the ida the same as the the director of umbra? isn't umbra a department of the ida agency, and therefore they'd have diff leaders? sorry, i'm a little confused x

Yes, it is. UMBRA is a department of IDA, but it’s a secret one so only the director and her closest friends knew/know about it (aka vice-director and deputy director). It’s like a side job for them but the director, Teresa Davis, is still the one who oversees everything, thus giving her the advantage of actually keeping UMBRA under wraps.

I’m afraid I’m a bit confused! The skeletons don’t have specific ages set in stone, just an age range. If you mean aging them up or down, I’m afraid that part is non-negotiable. Was that what you meant?

                             DINNER GALA: PLOT DROP #2

With comms cut and security cameras no longer allies, the Agents are on their own. Thankfully, Agents Fifty-Three and Ten were already together, with a plan to search the rooms above the dinner venue for any suspicious evidence. However, as soon as they hear that communications are down, they set out on another mission: meet the other Agents at the venue to try and figure out what they must do. 

They were all trained Agents and panicking was off the table. Fifty-Three and Ten made their rounds, taking enough time to do a good job while also on the way to meet their fellow Agents. 

Then, Fifty-Three spots something on the carpet beneath their feet. Vivid red stains. A trail of them. After alerting Agent Ten of what she saw, they followed the trail all the way to an emergency exit and ----

       AGENT EIGHTY-FOUR WAS FOUND DEAD, LYING IN HIS OWN POOL OF BLOOD.                                     His throat was cut, he never stood a chance.

Meanwhile, once they heard the communications were down, Agents Forty-Five, Thirty-Seven and Ninety-Eight call for a “family meeting” and excuse themselves outside to talk about what they should do since their main way of keeping up was now cut. 

Then, out of nowhere they got attacked and they never stood a chance. Ninety-Eight gets knocked out, Forty-Five and Thirty-Seven get taken and no one notices. It was almost as if the attackers knew exactly what the Agents would do in case of mission compromise. 

Upstairs, Agent Twenty-Seven knocks on the Nerve Center’s door; she wanted to know what was going on. Before her and Sixty-One had the chance to talk, they got attacked and, being outnumbered, no matter how good of a fight they put up, they end up both getting knocked out.

                              DINNER GALA: PLOT DROP #1

For Agent Sixty-One, staying up in the hotel room where the impromptu Nerve Center had been set up. The complimentary less than good coffee, telly with more than four channels and working security set up… what else could Sixty-One ask for? 

Eighty-Four does not feel the same, however, and he is beginning to grow restless. He is used to easy missions but something tells him this one is just too damn easy. Still, he tried to do what Sixty-One was doing. 

And then, there it is. The flicker on the corner of the screen that Eighty-Four caught by chance, looking at the laptops because everything in the room was so dull. 

For hours they had been looking at the screens. Sixty-One told Eighty-Four to go do a round, check for anything suspicious and just as soon as the door closed behind the Agent, Sixty-One turned on comms to talk to all Agents.

                                           “Agents, keep your eyes open.                                        The mission has been compromised.                                             I repeat, the mission has be—” 

And then the subtle buzz inside of all the Agents’ ears went dead silent. Their comms were down.

hi! i feel like im dreaming because i've been looking for a rp like this for years ??? could you talk more about what you envision for agent 42 ? im very interested in applying as agent 42 as a male character. i have some ideas in mind, but i'd love to hear your own headcanons! :-)

Glad you found us! Alright, so the whole idea around Agent 42 was that they were thrown in a secret agency (like UMBRA) from a very young age (think Black Widow from Marvel or Agent 47 from the Hitman video game) and never questioned it. However, they still craved freedom and managed to escape. What they don’t know, though, is that they’ve been programmed to be a sleeper agent (“What lies asleep is much more dangerous than what you think you can be”). I don’t really have any headcanons, as I made the skeletons just vague enough but with enough information for all of us to be on the same page but for you to be able to create your own muse. Hope this helps!
