I was trying to untangle this mess of thread until my friend's mum told me that some things are too hard to untangle and i should try making something beautiful out of it instead, so that's what i attempted to do here. Pale acrylic background and PVA glue.

I had to cut down my thread installation today. Such carnage. I think I feel sad.

Lady in Red - I finally got to work on finishing this portrait that I started months ago.

Used my sewing machine to stitch over a rough drawing of a tree. That is all.

Life Through Threaded Lenses - I found these glasses on a day out at Netley Abbey, they were just lying on top of a drain and they were so shiny. Perfect despite the fact they were slightly bent and missing an arm and lenses. Then I added some thread.

There's nothing pretty about death, however I do think Cheltenham has the prettiest dead pigeons.
