A few days ago I presented my dearest chimera toon, Morpho. Today, with the cleaners team from my good friend @hajimedics (go check them out nOW), I present to you... Them!
Morpho isnt any nurse, in a shared canon, Morpho works for Dr. Rokitanski as her unlikely "clumsy" nurse, saved from the grasp of death and resurfacing as perhaps the loveliest and sweetests, yet deadliests of couples.
If you need a quick fix off radar, you know who to call—Ignore how shy Morpho can be, they mean well <3
mercy and cogs inc’s cleanup crew. its members are spread all over toontown, maximizing their reach, and they immediately get going the moment the coast is clear. their job is to clean areas post battle such as the streets and buildings and salvage/collect whatever’s left of the sites, such as missed gags and cog parts, while intercepting toons that try to take them for their toontasks. the team is comprised of society’s foetids that are thrown at mercy since dismantling unproductive (grunt) cogs was outlawed years ago. the personalities making up the rank and file range from sympathetic, unlucky sods, to bizarre, trigger happy no good-doers.
Cw // Chimeria undead character with a visible mising eye ; talk of surgical procedures and murder

A grim little thing, meet Morpho Lacrigeist (They/Them), an unlikely undead nurse who was saved by someone society too had casted away.
More info under read more (cw apply)
Morpho is a chimera toon, created as such by a man we'd rather not talk about, and after being discarded, they found solace in a dark clinic where the bottom line reaches for salvation and healing.
Consisting of at least 5 different toon parts (Owl, Deer, Sheep, Sea Angel and Snake), Morpho struggles to remember their old self, while rebuilding their life after a traumatic event.
One of my darkest toons, they were fun to work with and I do have another art but I save certain arts to not spoil of other oc's who are not mine (long live shared ocverses), but maybe soon.
Maybe.
If you're wondering on body placement:
Head: Owl and Sheep (including eyes)
Limbs: Sheep (Arms) and Deer (Legs, think Noelle from Deltarune for this one, they're not your usual toon legs)
Torso: Sea Angel (Body) and Snake (Tail)
This once I may be more restrictive on questions about Morpho due to their backstory, but know now they're living their best life being a "clumsy" nurse
Random sketches n doodles and art drop, come here come see what I've done these days on my free time
(Footnotes may appear so they'll appear at the very bottom in case I need to use 1 footnote for many)
From oldest to newest...
Meet Alphonse Goldwing (He/Him), part of the "Manor of Butterflies" project. Not much is set about him other than he comes from a lineage¹ of cogs, was meant to rise to be a Head Honcho, but he's quite confident being a Paper Hands! Has a conflicting personality with Cogs Inc standars, which is enough to bring him and Hypnos together. The ink on his eyes and face are remnanta from previous fights.
This was my first time drawing a Paper Hands and shading my sketchs which was hella fun! The Paper Hands ever

Rugged, deadly and not quite a suit besides being one in body, Black Swan (He/It/They) is one of my darkest oc' to date in terms of villainy (only surpassed by Demos Themisse (Interpretation of Cj for Memento Mori²), who I've already presented, and my take on Ceo, Atlas Cotard²). He's an assasin, cold and unyielding save for one very specific man who has managed to keep this beast wrapped around his finger: Thomas Saggs.
Not revealing much, Black Swan works directly under Robert, used to be an Insider who rose rapidly into an exe Head Honcho, and is currently set in Cogs Inc as "The Benchmark", Kline Doe, but those are just smoke screens.
(Yes it is meant to look rugged and messy, but I admit I did make this sketch very fast)

Remember Ophelia(She/He/They)? Well aint nothing this girlie cant do!
Based on "Run Rabid" by Mollie Elizabeth, he's just having some fun, girl things n all yknow. This Ophie is part of "The Manor of Butterflies", a visage³ that roams its halls. Happily married and happily an unlikely Sound and Drop user <3
Who's the husband? Eh... In the works (not my oc and I dont think he's been shown... yet)

This is gonna be a doozy...
Meet uhm... Ludo Klein Biggs Monsoon Brubot Ruffler... He/They... Yes thats the full name—
Ok, so. Ludo, is Jung's son, who after being in one of High Roller's many highly exciting high stakes high adrenaline shows, and after bonding with Dave and Buck, was appointed a Low Baller (Just friend things said Buck), that Low Baller, is Ludo.
For, the name to make sense I need to backtrack a bit: Thesis of Dreams & Humanity, the project Jung is in, is... drenched... in yumeshipping, however the main couple is Jung, Ben and Misty... that explains the first 3 last names (Klein, Biggs and Monsoon), the last two are the people who conform High Roller, Dave and Buck, because they all have shared time with Ludo when he was little (see pic).
Thats why Ludo likes Psychology (spending time with Jung), and the sound of Rain (Spending time with Misty), and gets on Ben's nerves with his kinda perfect british accent when he's tryna acold them (Which funnily enough came from the british man himself), likes gambling too and does have a lean on it in psychology and everything he does (much like Buck), and, funnily enough has two left feet (unlike Dave).
Ludo shares traits with other connections Jung has, again, very yume drenched project, Ludo even has ties to Allan who in the project, becomes Jung's adoptive dad⁴
...
And if you wonder how Jung was doing in the show
Those cooking segments were hell (not pictured: Jung's veil; Jung also went on musical spots, think Deltarune Tv time)
———
Finishing with a red—Or rather Lime—ribbon, the first member of Jung's team, Pollux(They/Them)!
Pollux is a defective cog to cogs inc standars, which entails that their personality does not fit a normal Circuit Breaker (Think RuPaul), and as you can see, their circuit is not only lime, but the plug meant to be on their head is not there but on their waist-hip area.
... Now why is he in sellbot clothes. This has to do with Allan and Jung, and its probably the only footnote you'll see directly adressed now, and not later, because it explains Pollux and the rest of my boardbots attires
(Tw // mental health and implied suicide attempt )
⁴Jung becomes Allan's "adoptive daughter" after some issues with Cathal. Considering Jung was working with Cathal as his therapist, when shit hit the fan in the may Mental Health reaching a breaking point can reach, they had an altercation where many things were said, but ultimatedly, fatherly instincts won and between having Jung over to keep watch over Cathal and aid his recovery, Allan and Jung bonded enough for them to form a familial bond.
What does this have to do with Pollux? The altercation was not unnoticed, Jung was punished by being "demoted" from Boardbot to Sellbot, however, no one really counted their team, what many call the "Constellations", to go with them (they basically demanded it)
Cue, the whole team following them into their new jurisdiction and, as you can see, having new outfits. Pollux is just one of my two drawn constellations, the other being Callisto (She/Her; Insider), and her adoptive dad, Huey Lewis (He/They; Telemarketer)
Many things have been, on the works with Jung, many characters appear, many things happen, but I'll need to reveal them in due time, for now I can say, each jurisdiction is meant to have a link to Jung in terms of teams, so, we have Boardbots (Constellations), Sellbots (Muses) and Lawbots (Witnesses) set, each with their own name conventions and themes. Have fun guessing the last 2.

¹ While this will be explained more when I make my worldbuilding masterpost, Lineages in cog culture in my verses work on the basis of them being "families" of cogs that excel at one thing. The best example would be Pyrosis, my ambulance chaser, whose family excelled in spin doctora. Lineages are separated from other manufactured cogs by their presence of a last name. I.e. Pyrosis Sancoeur, Rue Dikke vs Cattell, Pollux
² In this context, Memento Mori is not refered as Cattell & Pyrosis' project, but as the overarching universe Memento Mori and other projects such as Between Legalese, Dreams and Hounds; Once Upon a Dream; Nobody Makes Sense, etc, are inserted in. Therefore, Demos Themisse, Atlas Cotard and Black Swan are overarching villains, each more present in their specific projects.
³ A Visage in The Manor of Butterflies entails what we may see as a ghost. They're living entities of people who once existed in toontown, and who are present in the Manor, pulled from the collective unconscious. They are not really alive, again, they're more akin to tangible ghosts.
⁴ If you went instantly down, scroll a bit up, this one is in Pollux's zone which is the last art of this list.
So uni is kicking my ass and one of my homeworks was to take a character, and twist its aesthethic around... while keeping its archetype untouched.
uh... So here is Greenwasher going from corporate suits to a blend of Y2K w/ Yuppie fashion (and a few notes i couldnt erase but they're ingrained in the canvas and its late and im too lazy to erase them + i need them if i show this to my class)
Small analysis under read more
Hey, ok, so lets get into the breakdown a bit (i lied this may be a bit long)
The archetype I went for Greenwasher went beyond the Shadow (Repressed things, the darkness of the world, you're thinking of the villain in most media), and into the Creator (as the word entails, you're thinking of artists, for example, here). Why? Well it comes into the worldplay of Green washing. Green washing is a concept about Companies lying about their environmental imprint, aka. they tell you they love and care for the environment while actively harming and destroying it... So how does this come into play with something like the "Creator" Archetype?
Thinking of Greenwasher I, realized that perhaps the one area I've heard green washing be used the most... was Fashion. H&M particularly came to mind because I remembered very clearly one of their eco friendly collections be bashed over it being, green washing... And, mind you, Green washing is everywhere, but with Fast Fashion and how Jeans in specific take so much water to be made... It felt right to orientate Greenwasher into someone who is very into fashion, who is very into looking good and following the trend to feed into one of the things people are always in need of: Clothes. (Amidst many other things)
Y2K x Yuppie was a fun find, I initially thought of, well, what is the most completely opposite thing I can turn Greenwasher to... Y2K fashion came up bc it was fun thinking of this dude wearing what Y2K is known for... But, then I thought of how I didnt, exactly, want to strip him from his corporate place because that much is, also, part of his essence, part of what makes him fit the "Shadow" Archetype so well. Cogs, are corporate people. Thats where Yuppie came from.
Y2K is a fashion aesthetic I see its very linked to this young adult/late teen age group, its very youthful, it feels very juvenile in some sense and it is also very, out there, its the kind of thing you see and think of say, K-Pop idols... So I had that turn around for Greenwasher but then, I am lacking the one part I wanted to keep for him: Formality.
Yuppie came as the weight the scale needed to balance itself. Yuppie, or Young Urban Professional fashion entails the young professionals joining the work force in high paying jobs, and in that sense, gaining a lot of money and living a life they probably couldnt afford before. The Yuppie Handbook presents this as a Yuppie wearing tailored suits or having the latest tech (back then it was the Sony Walkman), even indulging in brands that we know are expensive and exclusive (Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Rolex).
When you blend them both and you put into consideration Greenwasher is a Cashbot, you have someone who is not beyond joining latest trends and aiming for a youthful look to appease this new market coming through... But also someone who will flaunt his capital in every, step, of the way. Every piece of clothing in Greenwasher is meant to be tailored or expensive, gold is a staple in his fashion, and it does not matter if he can wear it (see: glasses), if he has to sell the look, he will for sure look good and complete it to a T.
Greenwashing becomes a narrative in the design through subtle choices. Between these, we have the flora and pearl usage:
Pearls are a mixed bag on its usage because, in its base, they dance on this thin line of being sustainable, to being pollutive. We need to remember that pearls are often than not, coming from oysters... animals. A mollusk if you wish to be more specific, and like any other animal based item, there is a danger to farming something so sought after.
The flora used has its own mess as they are all endangered species: Gingko is part of the many endangered plants according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), alongside Hildegardia migeodii (top right part of the vest), and Hibiscus noli-tangere (leaves and flower*), which, funnily enough, receives its name from latin, directly meaning: Touch me not. While not endangered, Lawson's Cypress, on the hidden wrist watch in the hand holding the cygar, is also on the list as a Near Threatened species, quite literally one step from entering the Threatened group (where the other mentioned plants are situated).
Finally, something happens when you ask me about how I name Greenwasher between me and my good friend, to make for an ease in calling the Generalists. I do not talk much about them, but if you've seen my oc's list, you know I have named Blamestormer as Nikolai Raskolnikov, or in the chance he's also mentioned, Nikanor Lebedev. Both answer to the same character in different universes (TTCC/TTR and TTEVH respectively). Now, I mention that so you know Im not pulling this up my ass and much less, now.
Greenwasher has received the name "Jean Amanita" from me, and this too, is composed. Jeans are one of the fashion industries with massive ecological impact, as not only does it need huge amounts of water to be used in its making, but the leftover material is toxic to the environment. Amanita, on the other end, is a mushroom, and you may say "Ok, nature pun hahah", but if you think of the red with white spots mushroom... you'd know that Amanita Muscaria is quite toxic, if not outright a Psychedelic and Hallucinogenic. So... I guess you could also make commentary there on drug usage in exclusive "Rich people" spaces... Isnt that interesting?.
edit: I forgot to add this but the * responds to the flower being found on the Hibiscus L., which I've seen is the Genus? For Hibiscus noli-tangere? So thats, yea.
So, remember this guy? Getting on track with posting art I've done, I can finally show the final art
On your left: Aesthetic Swap while keeping Archetype (Shadow/Creator), on your right, Bauhaus!
As, surprising as it may seem, the Bauhaus Design took me the most of time, mostly because well, yknow... Passing a washing machine to a "less is more", functional and artistic, bauhaus philosophy is surprisingly... hard. Still had a lot of fun, got a full mark foe this too! As for other inspirations, the suit was based on a triadic ballet costume (as seen under read more)
Not much to say about it as I dont have much, commentary to give off my Bauhaus redesign, so, thats that! A fun assignment ngl.
For the triadic ballet character, I quite like this one, a lot, something about the use of shapes and colors scratches my brain nicely but, then again Bauhaus in general scratches my brain nicely
May actually start posting other art stand alone tho I need to post my bauhaus Greenwasher bc got me a full mark, everyone say ty Greenwasher from upcoming hit game Toontown: Event Horizon
trying to get the hang of drawing toons better. resistance ranger uniforms are fun to draw, too… I think toons can modify them/get it custom made to suit their style best!
Thank you to whoever sent Thomas my way for the van gogh study i wanna make, and ofc thank you for sending Desmond my way too, you know who you are
Im sketching it now since I plan on using my watercolors and maybe the little paint pots I got for class I have yet to use despite my teacher asking for it—No worries, their time has come—so I may show a concept for it sometime soon because im doing it on my tablet so i dont fuck up my watercolor paper (26 bucks for the whole sketchpad ok </3)
But im excited! Uni may have kicked my ass but at least last works seem to be fun (have a 3d project coming up so that'll... be interesting!) Yay
