Sorry we took a little long in answering this! Our apologies. Unfortunately we do not see Hirai Momo as The Untouchable. We see FC’s for that muse that have more of a sultry and sensual look to them.

would it be possible for a member of the house to be invited because they're apart of a legacy?

This is a good question! While Lethe House does pride themselves on legacy that wouldn’t be the reason why they would invite someone to join. The House values virtues and assets-- things that someone can bring to the table themselves, versus things that might speak for them. 

It could be interesting to see a character who has been invited and already has connections in Lethe House! If that’s what you’re willing to explore perhaps message us off anon and we could brainstorm something.

When is your next acceptance? I'm working on my app and I'm trying to submit it tonight, no later than tomorrow!

We normally set an acceptance day after receiving an application. Right now, we don’t have one set because we don’t have an app in. Can’t wait to read over your application! 

Our acceptance days are usually 2-3 days after receiving an application. So, if you were to submit today, our next acceptance day would be Sunday just to give anyone else interested time to get an application in.

What new major would you guys want to see?

I would love to see more STEM majors. We don’t have a lot of those. Could also be interesting to have someone studying theater. I may be biased as a journalism major myself, but having someone studying journalism could create some incredibly interesting plot lines.

The inactivity limit for the roleplay is of 5 days. Posting photos, music, musings and such do not count as activity. After the 5th day, your character will be posted under the warning list and will have 24 hours to become active again before an unfollow is posted and the character is re-opened.

So happy to see our roleplay thriving and seeing everyone writing. Our first event officially came to an end and everyone’s already having a taste of what Lethe House has in store for everyone. Right now we only have one open muse and we’d love so much to have an app for it!

The warmth of summer is finally dying down in Manchester, England, just in time for the students to return to Bonavich University. The dead campus has slowly come back to life as the students return for another semester of learning. 

You may now play August 9-August 31 in-game. August 17 is the start of the fall semester at Bonavich University. Please note that this takes place after your initiation into Lethe House Society. If you have any questions about how the system works, feel free to reach out to either admin via Discord or the main. 

August Weather: August in Manchester is relatively cool, with temperatures ranging from 14.4 C to 20 C. The weather, for the most part, is sunny. However, there is the occasional rainy day. 

Events: 

August 8: Lethe House Society initiation 

August 10 - 14: move-in week 

August 15: back to school bash (hosted off-campus by the swim team) 

August 17: first day of classes 

August 17 - 21: back to school club recruiting events 

August 19: back to school pep rally - go tigers! 

August 22: Tabitha’s back to school event (off-campus event; people crowd into Tabitha’s diner and bar)

Suggested Tasks & Prompts: 

Where is the first place your muse goes now that they’re back on campus? Is it to Tabitha’s, or to their best friend’s dorm? 

What does your muse’s dorm room or apartment look like? 

Create a back to school playlist. 

Create a back to school moodboard. What’s your muse wearing? What are they doing during this time? 

Create a sample schedule for your muse. What classes are they taking? Do they like their new schedule or do they hate it? 

You decide to enjoy the time before school by heading out to the quad. Maybe you run into some old -- or new -- friends there. 

Have you been hitting up the back to school parties? 

Unlucky you. You get caught out in the rain on one of the rainy days. What happens? 

You’re late to your first class of the semester. How does your muse feel about it? What kept them so long? 

You hit up Tabitha’s for the first time this semester. As always, it’s packed. Who do you run into while you’re there?

Right as the clock strikes nine, a woman in a Lethe House Society uniform steps into the room. In her gloved hands is a stack of cards. She clears her throat, demanding the attention of everyone in the room. Once people quiet down she smiles, and begins her short prepared speech. 

“Greetings newest initiates to the Lethe House Society. It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you here tonight. I hope you found the food and drinks refreshing. I hope you enjoyed the opportunity to bond with one another. I have something for you. Could you all line up?” 

It takes some shuffling, but eventually everyone is standing in a neat line. She walks down the row, handing each of you a card. It appears to be some sort of tarot card except, instead of a tarot, there’s a virtue listed on the front. You flip it over and, on the back, there’s a seemingly impossible task. Once everyone has their card, she walks up to the small stage and clasps her white-gloved hands in front of her. 

“I’m sure you have many questions, allow me to explain.” She reaches into her blazer pocket and pulls out a card of her own. “These are your virtue cards. Each of you was chosen because you possess a certain virtue the House finds valuable. I’d suggest holding onto them in a secret place, without letting your peers peek over your shoulder.” She smiles and chuckles to herself, as if she’s told a joke. “On the back, there’s a task listed. The first part of your initiation will be to complete the task and return here by sunrise. Give the item to me. No one is to catch you, and no one other than your selected partner is to know what your task is. They’re personalized to each and every one of you.” She lets that hang in the air for a moment before pressing on. “We’ve paired you up based on a variety of factors.” 

She watches everyone, seeming interested in how you’re all taking the new information. “Any questions?”

Of course the mixer wasn’t the only reason you’d been gathered at the house. It’s time for initiation! Get creative, talk with your partner, and figure out how to complete the tasks. We’ll be messaging each person their task & partner individually via discord. After receiving your task from us, plot with your partner to find the best way to approach it. We encourage this plotting to take place both in character and out of character. As always, direct your questions to us on Discord, we’re happy to answer anything and everything. 

Please feel free to wrap any threads from the mixer, but please don’t start new ones. For those who are new, please get in touch with existing members if you want to establish any “canon” interactions you may have had during the mixer. Feel free to do these in a flashback thread on discord or on tumblr.

Wow Cami, I’m in love with your secret. It’s clear from your application that you’ve put so much thought into who Calliope is. Her actions are justified and she’s taken quite the journey to get where she is now. I loved the extras you included, and I feel they really capture the essence of the character. We cannot wait to see where you go in this RP. 

Congratulations Lou. You’ve been accepted for the role of The Phoenix with the faceclaim of ZOEY DEUTCH. 

We had three amazing applications for the Phoenix, it was so hard to choose between them. However, your’s really stood out because you captured the way the Phoenix rises into something else. I’m really enchanted by how Frankie has decided to leave others behind for good, and how she’s come into her own. So excited to write with you! 

Congratulations Percy. You’ve been accepted for the role of The Hidden Depths with the faceclaim of ALEX FITZALAN. 

I was blown away by your application. Jace and I think you really understand the motivations behind the Hidden Depths. I couldn’t imagine another character taking this spot because your app was so spot on. Like Cami’s application, I’m really excited by your secret and I think you’ll be a great fit here.
