As the two women entered their home Summer squealed. “Candice!” The small girl ran to her and hugged her as Macey looked on. “She’s missed you. I think you’re her favorite person.” It was nice to see her child take to her fiancee so fast and understand their life. She was proud of Summer and the woman she would grow into.

Candice saw Summer and she had a big smile on her face. “Summer! My little happy bean!” She said happily and hugged her tightly, even going as far as picking her up in her arms before putting her back on her feet. She looked at Macey and smiled more. “Her favorite person? You like me more than your mom, huh?” Candice teased as she nudged her fiancee and grinned warmly. “I missed you, Cutie. I hope you can forgive me too. I’ve been having to deal with a few things so me and your Mom don’t have to deal with anything... silly by other people.”
