Anniversarry: One down more to go.
• It was our special day so after a long day at work, the boyfriend and I met pulled out our best dresses. He greeted me with a bouque of beautiful pink carnations and a kiss to start of our evening. Told me to buckle up and drove 45 minutes to our surprise destination. Sang a few hits in the car, bribed him a couple of times about the place but he was tough to break. Finally hearing the words “we’re here” sent electricity all over my heart and tummy. An Italian restaurant greeted my nos.. sight. The boyfriend made reservation for once and I was impressed, he did planned for this through and through (he never reserves). About 2 to 3 of inhaling all those aromas, we were finally seated. What an authentic menu with so many choices to pick from in so little time. I was in a daze.. in an undecided parallel universe. Finally the boyfriend decided to start us of with our favorite calamari and spicing our life with the “imitation” crab cake. The calamari was so and so but the crab cake was “WOW. I could eat another 1 or 2 of these.” (per the boyfriend). The crab cake knocked him off his feet than my kisses ever did. They brought us the healthy greek salad and galric roll (wasn’t really fond of them). Then on with our entree. The boyfriend ordered his usual pasta (which was very delicious itself) but I went to order a steak. A steak that once it touches your mouth it melted away like a stick of butter. The boyfriend should plan our dinner out more often, the italian restaurant did not dissappoint. Anniversarry well spent with my caring and loving half. Thank you love. •
