Christine stood on stage, the auditorium was empty for a while between rehearsals. Hers had just ended, but she decided to stay a little. She closed her eyes, imagining a large crowd, gathered to watch a performance. To see the sights, to fall in love with the story. And as a performer, it was her…
Christine grinned, “Thank you.” she said, in a way that sounded quiet but really was loud enough to project through the theatre. The secrets of performing were always useful. “I’m in one of the shows.” There were at least two others going on at the same time. Christine jumped off the stage and walked towards the other girl, “I’m Christine.”
Christine smiled and nodded, “Sure!” She began walking towards the stairs that went up to the stage, “You make costumes?” she asked, making small talk as the headed to the dressing rooms, “That’s really cool!” Christine wished she had the artistic ability to do something like that.
“It’s nothing really, but thanks.” Hay Lin tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. She had to keep the conversation going. “What about you? Who do you play?” Another growl came from behind her and prompted her to start pushing Christine toward safety. “We need to hurry! The…Uh… Snacks might be gone soon.”
Hurry… hurry…
Christine walked faster, shrugging off the semi-strange behavior as a long day in the theatre without too many breaks. "I play Belle, from Beauty and the Beast." she said proudly. This was her first show here and she had gotten a major role. She couldn't wait until the show went up!

So I try going onto tumblr because I have a delayed opening at school and miss it here. And guess what? IT WORKED!!!!!! So, apparently my mum decided to block it at night, so that’s a limitation, but I can still write during the day if I have time so *crosses fingers* BUT I CAN BE HERE-ISH!!!!!
Reblog if you are an INDEPENDENT roleplayer
And you will be added to the List.
Christine nodded ruefully, “Christine Daae, ex-chorus girl of the Palais Garnier.” Pupil of the infamous Phantom of the Opera and ex-fiancé of Raoul, the Vicomte De Changy. She offered a forced smile, “What’s your story? You figured out mine, but I’m afraid I’m not as...
A frown tugged on the corners of Christine's lips, "I'm sorry." she told the princess, not quite sure what else she could say about that. Why was it that in actuality, most stories were tragedies. "Did you come here to find your happily ever after?"

Hay Lin sprinted through the auditorium. The snarling of an escaped creature from Meridian echoed in the empty halls as it ran away from the guardian and towards a portal. It was green and looked like a cross between a bear and a tiger, definitely not a good combination. While she wasn’t transformed, Hay Lin would still be able to catch it. Probably. Maybe. If she was lucky. Either way, she was glad she had volunteered to help make the costumes for on upcoming show. Someone could have been dragged off to Meridian by the thing. She turned a corner and found herself facing the hallway branching off into three smaller halls. The air around her bended and every sound around her sharpened. She listened closely to each hall in turn as she manipulated the air with her magic. There was a slight shuffle coming from the third one. She resumed chase. Nothing could stop her from trapping the escaped creature. Nothing! Except the singing. Music notes seemed to swirl around her as she swayed with the voice. It was a snake charmer and she was the serpent. It enchanted and hypnotized her, pulling her to a cracked open door. There she stood until the girl on stage sang her last note and looked out at the empty seats as if in every one there was a person applauding for her. “What a cosmic voice!” Hay Lin though as she began to clap. The girl on stage looked toward her with a red face. “Wow! You have a really great voice!” The Guardian stepped forward and complimented her. Are you going to be in the show?”

“That’s right! There are a couple shows right now aren’t there?” Hay Lin remembered the costume designer saying something about that. “I’m Hay Lin! I’m an assistant costume maker.” A nearly silent growl came from behind her and reminded why she was here in the first place. She needed to distract the other girl. But how, how?! The answer came to her. Food! Everyone loves food! “Um… There’s food in one of the dressing rooms!” She blurted. “Want to check it out?” Please say yes so we can get out of here and you don’t have to see the scary monster thingy that’s right behind me!
Christine smiled and nodded, "Sure!" She began walking towards the stairs that went up to the stage, "You make costumes?" she asked, making small talk as the headed to the dressing rooms, "That's really cool!" Christine wished she had the artistic ability to do something like that.
OOC: To all my RP partners
I'm traveling until Monday. I'm might not be on much during my usual hours but I'll get to replies at least once a day (I think). Sorry for any inconveniences...

Christine smiled, "Just let me know when you're up for company. I'm usually free when I don't have school or work." She blushed a little when he insisted she would be a star. That would be nice, but a lot of performers, even talented ones, didn't become stars. Getting discovered was harder than it looked.

Christine smiled, “Don’t worry about it. I love talking about music.” She bit her lip, looking at the ground and then back at Erik, “Would it be possible to maybe hear the piece sometime? I’ve never heard an original piece performed by the composer himself.” She blushed a little, realizing how stupid she sounded.
Erik was happy to hear her say that. He knew he wanted to play for her and hoped that she would sing along if he did. “It seems that someone in this town finally does.” He smiled. “Of course you can hear my work but not that one, I can play something else but you can’t hear my work until it is finished.” He never let anyone hear his work, he was very strict about that. “You are still an amateur and student you are bound to not hear the composer play until you are a star and people flock to see you.” Erik didn’t want her to be embarrassed as the blush indicated.
Christine smiled, "I'm not going to be a star for a while." She still had to finish college first, get her equity card. All that stuff. "So I'm definitely not missing the opportunity to hear you play." She took out a piece of paper and pen from her pants pockets, having stuff'd them there at the end of a lecture. She ripped a piece of the corner and scribbled down her email, holding it out to him. "Do you want to just let me know when you're free at some point?" she blushed a little, realizing that this was a bit awkward, but oh well. She wanted to hear his music.
Christine stuck her key in the lock, turning it and pushing the door open. She walked into the house, looking around. This was only time she was seeing it, have stayed at Granny’s...

Christine smiled, "I'm a bit better at controlling myself than an eight year old. Don't worry, I won't bother you when you study." She paused for a moment, wondering whether or not to add that they'd get along as long as she could practice without complaints. It wasn't like she did in the middle of the night, right?
Christine furrowed her brow. How did one not want to do anything special? That was… she couldn’t even figure out how that was possible. “Well, not everything has to be for profit. You can always still make jewelry for fun.” she offered.
“True, true… Perhaps I will make...
Christine shrugged. She couldn't force people to do what would make them happy. She looked over at the bar, figuring she may as well change the subject now. "What do you have to drink here?" she asked.
