The view was worth the 4:30am wake up call. 42 years ago today my parents got married and began their lives together. 4 months ago we got married. And 4 months ago today we lost Mom. I miss her everyday. I wish I could just call her up and talk to her, ask just how to cook her special dishes, or just have her tell me when I’m being unreasonable (she was good at that).
