Kuzumi-kun, Can’t You Read The Room?

A sweet, simple and endearing love story between an anxious popular girl and a dense boy.

Erika Sakura, a cute and popular girl, suddenly finds herself curious about the actions of her weird classmate, Kuzumi. As time goes on, she gets inherently frustrated on multiple accounts due to his eccentric behaviour, eventually realising her feelings for him. But the biggest problem is that Kuzumi doesn’t know how to read the atmosphere, which makes everything even harder.

We get to see the journey of this well-liked yet naive girl try to confess to a strange boy whose emotions are hard to decipher, even by his closest friend.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

This manga was my first ever, which is why it has a special place in my heart(so I might be a tiny bit biased🤫).

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! focuses on Sawada Tsunayoshi, a thirteen-year-old boy, who has been constantly demeaned throughout his life due to his ‘No-Good’ personality and cowardly behaviour. The manga starts off by showing us the friendless and unpopular state of Tsuna, along with his hopeless crush on the school idol, Sasagawa Kyoko. Not only is he lazy, but also a bad student. Almost everyone believes he will amount to nothing in life, even himself. But then he gets the news of a home tutor hired by his mom. Tsuna first thinks it’s a joke when a toddler shows up and introduces himself as Reborn. Tsuna believes him after Reborn proves himself(in very unorthodox ways). He later reveals to Tsuna that he is actually a Hitman from the mafia, assigned to train Tsuna to be the next boss of the Vongola Family. What we see next are how Tsuna gains loyal and trustworthy friends, gains confidence while still having a heart of gold and tackles everyday problems along with life-threatening ones.

I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a wholesome yet hilarious read with a few dashes of seriousness mixed in. It will keep you hooked for days!
