A much neglected Prophetic Sunna [tradition] is to make others feel important and appreciated—behaving and dealing with such love, care and concern that they begin to feel they are one of the dearest people to you.
-Mufti Muhammad Ibn Al-Kawthari.
رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا
Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us
Surah At-Tahrim -8
“ It is alright. One day, I will come home to you and you will come home to me. Our teacups would sit on the wooden table arrogantly through seasons, and conversations and silences. You will be the first person to know all the details of my day and I would be there to call you out on you arrogance, and to encourage you, and when you dream, to dream with you. And then, we will come home to each other always and forever.”

يا كثر الكلام اللي ورا ضلوعنا نخفيه .
There are so many things we hide behind our ribs.
One must teach himself to live with struggle, not because one wishes to struggle but because struggle is inevitable. Either you encounter it with grace or it will force its way in. It’s also important because the times ahead are not easy; the life you envision or the ranks you wish to attain will not come to you as a piece of cake—it requires struggle. So embrace the struggle already and prepare yourself for the combat.
As ‘umar bin al-Khattāb said, “Roughen up, for bounties do not last forever.”

Anaïs Nin, from a diary entry featured in The Diary of Anaïs Nin Volume 1 1931-1934
“But when did we begin losing sight of God? When did we get so caught up in all of these tangling desires that we forgot that one simple fact: to have God is to have all?”
— God is better—is greater—than anything we are reaching for (for He is everything we are reaching for).
“You can’t pretend that the things you watch, and the things you hear, and the places you go will not have an impact on your character. They will.”
