Green and a Special Reward
Dear Mom, I snuck back into Silph Co. yesterday morning and I was going to take the elevator to the top floor but before I could get there I was stopped by none other than Green. I guess he wanted to check out the projects they're working on at Silph Co. and he had a tour scheduled since he's Professor Oak's grandson. Since Team Rocket was there we decided to battle instead. Luckily there was only one Team Rocket member in the lobby and he assumes that I was chasing Green off (since I still had my uniform on). I beat Green but his Pokémon have grown a lot since we last battled. He's ahead of me on badges but I have way more Pokémon than he does. We'll see how that helps in the end. After Green too off I headed up to the President's office and sure enough the leader of Team Rocket was there. It was the same well dressed man I met in the Celadon Game Corner. He also raised his Pokémon well but my Blastoise was too powerful for his rock and ground type Pokémon. The anger on his face when he knew he couldn't win was priceless. He mumbled something about already getting what he came for and left. As a reward the President gave me a Master Ball. It's a pokéball that never fails. He told me to save it for something special and I will. After I beat the leader of Team Rocket everything seemed to clear up in town. Love, Bennett
Don't Know who to Trust
Dear Mom, I snuck into Silph Co. today. It's definitely bad in there. Most of the employees are huddled in offices but some were part of Team Rocket all along. It looks like they infiltrated the research teams there and helped when Team Rocket came to take over. At one point I thought I was helping a group of employees get to safety and one of the turned on me. I beat her but she was super sneaky. Other members of Team Rocket weren't so sneaky. In fact one even dropped a special key card that can get me into the upper levels. I heard a couple of them talking and it sounds like the President of Silph Co. is trapped in his office and the leader of Team Rocket is going to be here tomorrow for some sort of meeting. I'm going to get in there early to stop him. I know you don't approve Mom but I'm the only one who can get there in time. Love, Bennett
A Gym without a Badge
Dear Mom, I flew back to Saffron City this morning and I found that most of the buildings are barricaded to keep Team Rocket out. It seems like just about everyone is scared of them and I can understand why. It seems like they've taken over Silph Co. and they're preventing people from even going into the gym. I did find one place that's not afraid of Team Rocket. The Fighting Dojo is next to the gym in Saffron City and its trainers specialize in fighting type Pokémon. I challenged their leader and my Kadabra came out on top. They don't give badges there. Instead I earned a Pokémon. A Hitmonchan! It's super cool. They also gave me a Team Rocket outfit. I think I can use it to sneak into the Silph Co. building and see if there's anything I can do to help the people there. Love, Bennett
Electrifying Excitement
Dear Mom, I heard the coolest rumor a few days ago. Someone staying at the Pokémon Center heard that a bunch of new Pokémon were in an abandoned power plant north of Lavender Town. I had. Rough idea of where it was so I called on Pidgeot to fly us all out there. I had to surf on Blastoise to get to the power plant but I found it easy enough. Inside the power plant it was scary. The lights kept flickering on and off and electric type Pokémon seemed to lurk around every corner. I even mistook a few Eletrodes lying on the ground for discarded items and got quite a shock. That's not the best part though. I found a massive electoral bird Pokémon. It was super quick but Haunter was able to put it to sleep. It was a long battle but I caught Zapdos! It's so cool. People are telling me they've never seen it before. I'll have to keep that one safe. Love, Bennett

Tea Parties in Celadon
Dear Mom, You wouldn't believe it but the guards around Saffron City just wanted some tea. I don't know why I didn't pick up on it before but it seems like they didn't want anything fancy and an old lady in Celadon City makes the best green tea. Anyway I made it into Saffron City and its super weird. Team Rocket members are everywhere and it's worse than Celadon was. I'm camped out in the Pokémon Center tonight but tomorrow I'm going to have a look around. Love, Bennett
So many choices for an Eevee! Jolteon is a good one.
Biker Brawl
Dear Mom, You'd probably be really scared if you knew about it beforehand but today I battled a bunch of really tough bikers. I headed West out of Fuchsia City and followed the bike path back up to Celadon City. At first I thought they were just being jerks but then I realized that a big gang of bikers had taken over the bike path. I couldn't go a hundred yards without running into them. I battled them all though and finally ran into their leader. He was tough but I took down his stinky Pokémon. After I defeated him the rest of the bikers seemed to respect me a lot more. In fact I might spend a few days training with them before I try to get back into Saffron City. Love, Bennett
Love this! One of my favorites.
Invisible Walls
Dear Mom, Koga was a fun battle but he wasn't the best part. The gym in Fuchsia City has invisible walls. I thought I could head straight in and battle Koga but I ran straight into a wall and I looked like a dork. I had to scout out a hidden path around the edge of the gym to get to the gym leader. My Arcanine really helped sniff out the right path so I didn't run into any more walls. Koga used mostly poison Pokémon and I had very little trouble with powerful attacks like Flamethrower. I didn't even need to use an Antidote after the battle. I'm going to celebrate tonight with my new friend the Safari Zone warden. I helped him out with an errand and he invited me to dinner. Love, Bennett
Grand Safaris
Dear Mom, The Safari Zone is so much fun. I've caught a bunch of new Pokémon. I caught a Chansey and a Tauros. I even found a bunch of items that got dropped by other trainers while out in the park. I found some weird teeth too. I wonder if anyone around town lost them. I wonder if Green has seen this place? He could really use some new additions to his team. Maybe I'll write him a letter. I plan on hanging around the Safari Zone for a few more days then challenging Koga the Fuchsia City gym leader. I hear he's a ninja. It could be tricky. I wonder if there are any good anti-ninja Pokémon in the Safari Zone? Love, Bennett
Tons of Trainers
Dear Mom, Route 13 and 14 are full of trainers. My Pokémon are growing so strong and I'm winning almost every battle. Lots of trainers are talking about the Safari Zone in Fuchsia City. Apparently it's a park full of Pokémon that you can catch. I'm definitely going to check it out. I caught a ditto. It's a cool Pokémon. It can transform into any other Pokémon. I bet it could be friends with just about any of my Pokémon. Another night under the stars seems like it'll do me good. It's been a great few months Mom. I really miss you but I can't imagine doing anything else with my life. Love, Bennett
