BEYBLADE X TOURNAMENT SERIES

We are proud to announce LevelX Champions!

It's time to compete among the best that LevelX has to offer! Bring one bey from each of 5 different formats, and prepare to compete for huge prizes, and the title of Ultimate LevelX Champion!

This event will take place on October 26th.

This event is invite-only. If you reach top-cut (finals stage) of any LevelX or LevelX Sidequest Series Tournament, you are qualified to take part!

This tournament will operate on a special, multi-format ruleset. Details are listed below.

Format Structure:

Each player will arrive with five Beyblades, one from each of these existing Beyblade Formats:

Plastics

HMS

Metal Fight (WBO Limited)

Burst

X

Players begin by playing Rock, Paper, Scissors. The winner will decide if they would like to ban first, or second. The player going first will start by banning one of the 5 formats that is listed above. Then, the other player will ban one of the remaining 4 formats.

After bans are completed, the person who banned FIRST will chose what Beyblade format will be played first. After the battle is over, the loser of the round will decide which format is played next. This will go on until one player reaches 3 points. In Finals stage, matches will be played to 5 points.

In regard to points, for this event all winning finishes only result in a single point. This means things like the X-Treme finish in X format will only net the player 1 point, as opposed to 3.

Because Each generation utilizes different stadiums for their play, we will also be using a variety of stadiums, depending on the format being played. They are as follows:

Plastics / HMS : ShinTA

Metal Fight : Summit

Burst : Pro Series

X : BX-10

If a player arrives to the tournament station, and lacks a combo from a specific format, they will be given a pre-determined Bey to use for that format. There will be two copies of a pre-determined loaner Bey, for each generation so both players will always have access to a full deck.

The loaner Beys are as follows:

Plastics : Cross Fang | Eight Wide | Semi-Flat Base (Right)

HMS : Advance Attacker | Circle Heavy | Metal Flat Core

Metal Fight : Ray | Unicorno | 105 | WD

Burst : Ultimate | Valkyrie II | Legacy | Quick | 9

X : Arrow Wizard | 4-80 | Low Flat

PRIZE POOL

Four different prizes will be awarded: one for 1st place, one for 2nd place, one for 3rd place, and one for 4th place. The 1st place winner getting first pick, 2nd gets second pick, then 3rd picks, and 4th gets what’s left. The prizes in the pool will be:

5. Switching Combos    A. If a replay is declined, the loser of the previous battle may choose to have the judge rotate the Stadium 180 degrees to swap sides.    B. Both bladers may then freely select a Beyblade from their deck to use in the next battle.    C. The winner of the previous battle must make their selection first, and then show that Beyblade to their opponent.    D. The loser then may select any of the Beyblades in their deck to use for the next battle.    E. Any mode changes should occur after both players have selected their Beyblades, taking place double blind if required.

Out-of-Bounds ruled as Over Finish

Any Beyblade that goes out-of-bounds in this Tournament will be considered knocked-out instead. If a Beyblade is knocked-out in this manner, it will count as an Over Finish.

Own Finish

If a Beyblade is knocked-out into an Over Zone or Xtreme Zone

OR is launched directly into an Over Zone or Xtreme Zone

AND without making contact with the opposing Beyblade

Then the Battle ends, and the opponent receives 1 point. The Battle replays with the same Beyblades.

A note on Hygiene: If you have a noticeable and distracting odor, you may be disqualified and asked to leave.

Alternative Launching Rule: Continuous Side Switching

Bladers will be stationed across from each other on the Left and Right sides of the BeyStadium. Which side each Blader assumes must be decided by fair means (ex. Judge’s coin flip/dice roll, or rock-paper-scissors), with the winner getting to pick their starting side. This orientation is inverted after each subsequent Battle.
