cain and leviathan kinda knew each other before leviathan was moved to site-17 because leviathan somehow got ahold of cain's email and started emailing that email thinking it was a dead email

cain has an email because personnel really do trust him that much and so he can gain/provide information to personnel when needed without needing to meet up in person

leviathan feels emotions a bit stronger than the average person, but never outwardly shows it.

they both come off as stoic and dull and people think they only get along because they both have the same attitude.

okay, as i try to come up with a little story for my little characters i will have to separate the most notoriously confusing character of them all. leviathan.

leviathan is pretty confusing cus im always depicting it different n its face is different and pretty much everything different.

definitely prone to changes in the future, here's a kinda descriptor of it:

leviathan is quiet and likes to keep to itself. it can and will socialize, but it doesn't often. it will stay around people, but will never talk.

leviathan works at site-17's archival storage as a processing archivist, though it likes to physically organize everything that comes in through the front desk.

after hours, if it's not wandering the halls, it enjoys sitting in its cell room listening to music while it works on a new project. it likes to make builds of any kind (wooden builds, lego builds, paper builds, freehanded builds, builds with instructions, etc.) and likes to place them on display in its room for all to see. building is its main source of entertainment, but it also enjoys other artistic hobbies such as, writing, painting, drawing, creating music and creating clothes.

after leviathan gives birth to ud, it gets hit with that postpartum weight gain

instead of this being a negative, it ends up being a positive cus leviathan starts eating better mainly in order to breastfeed ud properly

the era of sickly skinny leviathan is over, we welcome the new era of fat muscular leviathan

also leviathan pretty much avoided being around ud n cain unless it was to breastfeed ud. it ended up wandering around a lot more or staying on the top shelves if the archives.

cain pretty much took care of ud. burping her, changing her, cleaning her, etc. he had to carry ud around with him n deal with people asking him about ud (he didnt tell anyone that she's his kid, he just says she appeared out of nowhere, but people are speculating she's his because of how overly protective he is of her) and almost losing ud. when it came to food, leviathan would just appear out of nowhere the second ud would start whining for food n would only be available for cain to talk to during that duration.

leviathan never really got better, it just changed it's outward appearance when ud was 18 months old, becoming more "happy" and taking care of her more. cain was happy about this and genuinely believed leviathan got better until night came. at night leviathan was very quiet, even when cain tried to talk to it. cain was sad by this but a bit happy that at least leviathan was starting to care for their kid more.

during the time between leviathan's avoidance of cain n ud, cain's anxiety worsened n his dose got upped. he almost killed/abandoned ud because he thought he had forced leviathan to give birth to ud when he hadn't meant to (he didn't force leviathan to give birth, leviathan did want a kid, but wasn't exactly in the mental state for it, especially after the events leading up to the birth which remains mostly unknown to cain).

hebel has to be careful around ezeqeel when he's sick.

not because ezeqeel is fragile, but because hebel is. everyone and everything that isn't quote un quote "blessed" by ezeqeel will have a higher chance if decomposing if touched by sick ezeqeel. it doesn't matter how strong or how much protection you have, decay and rot is wayyy more powerful and persistent than any deity, and to hebel no less. everything is the same to fungi.

hebel prefers keeping a couple feet away from ezeqeel if he has a minor illness (a cold, itchy throat, etc.). he'll hold ezeqeel if he wants it, but it takes more energy as, despite him rotting a lot slower than other things, he still needs stuff to replenish the flesh that's decomposing.

but if ezeqeel is real sick (real bad flu, stomach bug, etc.) hebel will not be anywhere around him unless a glass wall is between them or unless its completely necessary (by completely necessary moreso ezeqeel is in a lot of pain and doesn't wanna see him so upset).
