                 lee’s straight face definitely made celeste burst into chuckles. she knew he got the message, but somehow, she didn’t understand why he wasn’t playing along with it the way she wanted him to. “alright, may the best man with the best notes win!” she challenged him, shaking her head fondly and slowly. “which one are you taking, then? not that i will occasionally pay you visit in there and get you distracted, but i just want to know.” she says with a light shrug. the next scene absolutely made her feel a bit nervous. “it’s not that interesting, but interesting enough for an a. just boring stuff, honestly!”

Lee frowned, realizing that she didn’t get his hint. “Wait, no I didn’t mean like actual notes. I thought we were talking about, like, sexy stuff? Did my attempt at nerdy dirty talk fail?” That's what he got for trying to get creative. “The point of me telling you where I’m gonna work is so you will go and distract me from it. Those are the rules.” He shook his head. “Oh, be quiet. It’s obviously interesting if it got an A. It’ll be great, lemme see it already.” He made a “give me” motion with his hands, pretty much mimicking a baby asking for a toy.

                    a slightly smug reaction laced all over the female’s facial reaction. lee’s stories may be a bit more mundane than hers, but it’s lee. he can make those things sound interesting– specially, to celeste. “aww, we got a really busy bee here. maybe we should meet at the back of the library to get your studying fix.” the last bit was suggestive, and it almost made her burst into loud laughter as she met his gaze. “what kinda job are you exactly getting? did any of them called you back yet?” she asks, her head slightly tilted to her left. without further ado, the female turned to her nightstand, opening the drawer and pulls out the paper. she was quite nervous, since she never really lets anyone read her works besides her professors. but it was lee.

“Haha.” Lee said with a straight face. “I’m down to meet at the library. I can show you how great I am at Cornell notes.” He heard the suggestion in her voice, and he was all down for playing this game. He looked her up and down with a smirk playing on his lips before answering her questions. “I applied for a couple different types. Mostly cashier stuff though, since those are easier to get and work better around my schedule. I’ve had two call me back- Starbucks and the music store a couple blocks away.” He watched as she reached into her nightstand, getting excited at the thought of reading her essay. Who knew something like that would make him so excited.

“Yeah, my dick is great. Yours is great too. All dicks are great!” Lee was sure that if anybody else in the house could hear them talking, they’d definitely think they were crazy. “Yeah, that’s true. God, I didn’t realize how much I needed this. Turns out I really needed someone to tell me to just not care.” You’d think with all that Lee did, not caring would already be his life motto. “I’m glad you came to get me sick now.” That was a sentence he never thought he’d say.

                  “yeah, but i understand that they had to figure out tings without me. it’s their life, anyway.” she shrugged, smiling and appreciating the fact that lee was really digging every detail and is actually listening. something that she can immediately notice to a person when she’s talking; and she can’t remember the last time she had someone to listen to her like lee did. “oh, come on. i’m gonna listen even if they’re not as interesting as mine. you know how i like listening to stories even though i’ve got such a bored face all the time.” she giggled, in hopes that he would eventually open up. “do you wanna read the essay? it’s actually about one’s maturity– can you believe i got an a on that one?”

“In that case...” Lee shrugged his shoulder, and tried to think about what he’d done that week. “I studied for most of the week, had a small mental breakdown over court cases- which can get really hard to memorize- umm... studied some more.” He began ticking off each thing on his fingers. “I applied for a couple jobs. I figured it was time to finally get one again.” Lee sat up straighter at her question. “Yeah, I’d love too. I’m curious to see how you sound on paper.”

                     ah, finally. she thought to herself. those were the words she wanted to hear; her hardwork being acknowledged and appreciated; specially by the person that somehow pushed her to do it. she just grinned at him ever so sweetly, and the redhead couldn’t help but giggle at how he went on with the details. “yeah, they’re better off without her, honestly. i wasn’t okay, because the two completely drifted away from me for a little while to figure things out. you know how worried i can get sometimes, specially if you’re someone really close to me. but then again, they came back and told me everything– which isn’t too pleasant because they decided to surprise visit their mom. things are fuckin’ awful.” she tells him, sighing once more. “you did nothing? i don’t entirely believe you– but that was a technical writing test. got the highest remark for being too formal and quirky at the same time on my essay; though others just believe that i got the a because professor got the hots for me.” she rolls her eyes again. “which is completely bullshit, by the way.”

“Damn, that doesn’t sound fun. I can understand why they needed space, but it wasn’t very fair to you. They decided to visit her?” It wasn’t something Lee would think people with a bad mom would do. But then again, if he found out about a secret sibling he’d go and ask his parents about it too, whether they were abusive or not. “Well, I guess not nothing, but nothing anywhere near as interesting as your stories. An A? That’s interesting as hell. And I know you earned that A, because you’re quirky and formal in real life too. It’s an odd combination but it somehow works.”

                     “you guess? i’m deeply offended by that!” the girl pouts childlishly, her eyes rolling at him playfully as she tried to recall her extremely good selfies that she had sent him before. those didn’t just happen in one shot; she wished she could just say that out loud, but she didn’t want to seem too self-absorbed. “hmm, i found out that two of my greatest friends are actually half siblings!” she exclaimed. “it was a bit messy, actually. there’s a lot of emotions and i didn’t know what to do because it was such… a sudden revelation. i happen to personally know their mom since i grew up with one of those two that i was talking about, and i couldn’t help but feel bad for them because she’s not the best mother out there. god, i don’t even know how she’s a mother with that awful wholebeing.”  celeste rambled, sighing ever so loudly before she looks at lee again; hoping to calm the storms inside her. “i also happened to ace that test that i was studying about for days. that’s actually my boring part. what about you, though? how have you been? what did you do in the past few days?”

“Oh come on, its obvious those pictures were great. Your hair was popping, your eyebrows were popping, lighting was popping. How do you do that? I just take a picture and go and it turns out fine but yours is a work of art.” Lee meant every word. He stared at every picture for a long time, admiring what was on the screen. “Woah... That is interesting. That’s actually a lot to handle. Their mom doesn’t sound great, but they’re doing fine without her right? And I know you weren’t the one to go through it, but you’re okay too right?” He felt bad for those half siblings; it probably wasn’t fun at all to learn new and unexpected things about yourself. “Oh good news! What’d you get on it?” He shook his head, not ready for her to stop talking yet. “I did nothing, but tell me more about this test.”

                    i just wanted to see you. his words kept replaying in her head. of course, she’s gonna lie about how that didn’t make her feel things inside her. the usual celeste doesn’t feel all giggly over a couple of sweet words. “it was such a bad idea, but i’m kinda glad you came over.” she said to him, smiling softly as she turned around to face him again. god, how cute does he look with damp hair. she went over to her bed, sitting on the edge of it as she looked at levi across her. “now that you’ve mentioned it, i think you’re right. the last time we actually talked was at the diner, and through text messages; which isn’t really talking because it’s more like… exchanging cute selfies.” she giggled, then pats the empty space beside her for him to occupy. 

“Good... I’m glad you’re glad.” Lee walked closer to her, so that he could see her better. “I aim to please.” He was happy when she patted her bed for him to sit with her. Anything she did made him giddy and excited. “Thank you, I know I take cute selfies. Yours are fine too, I guess.” He sat down, and turned so that he was completely facing her. “So now that we’re face to face again-” He reached up and brushed the smallest piece of hair away from her face. Any excuse he had to touch her, he’d take. “Let’s talk. What’s been going on? Anything interesting, exciting, boring?”

Levi could feel the energy that Thomas was giving off, and was starting to feed off of it. He was nodding his head vigorously, agreeing with everything that he was saying. “Yeah... yeah you’re right. If they don’t like it, it’s their problem.” Levi liked this new outlook on this subject. Sure he’d told himself that it wasn’t his fault if his dick didn’t live up to expectations, but it was different having someone sitting in front of you say it, and with such vigor too. “Fuck everyone else’s opinion on my dick. I think it's great.”

“Nope.” Lee’s own face turned red as she turned around. He quickly started taking his shirt off, and was starting to unbutton his pants when she’d turned around. Thank god, it hadn’t been when his pants were off, because his underwear was wet and sticking to every part of him. He was putting on the sweatpants when he answered. “I just wanted to see you. We haven’t gotten a chance to really talk since our last date. Now why I did it in the middle of a storm, I have no idea. I was struck with the idea and ran with it.” He pulled the shirt over his head, and said, “Alright, you can look now.”
