Makes sense. Did those interests come before or after you started your piloting career?
Before. I’d say it’s what got me interested in becoming a pilot myself.
meghanmendes:
That’s cool. Is there a specific period you’re interested in?
WWI and WWII, really. The Cold War, too. Any sort of aerial warfare history.
meghanmendes:
Are you a pilot? That’s so not the answer I was expecting.
I am, yes. Ah, I know, it’s a little strange, but I’m a history buff.
meghanmendes:
Which certainly makes my point for me. Then what do you do to unwind?
There’s not much time for that in the Air Force, but the rare chance I get is spent learning.
meghanmendes:
Right back at you. So, Levi, do you play a lot of golf in your spare time?
Not at all. Only when my dad is in town, really.
meghanmendes:
Always better to have that than a bunch of virtual strangers, right?

That might be my other problem, I don’t really have a group of people, just a few close ones.
A few close ones sounds just as good to me.
I’d even go if I weren’t a complete stranger.

Just don’t like being laughed at.
Yeah, I don’t think anyone likes being the butt of a joke, but this is more of a group experience, so there’s no reason to worry.
meghanmendes:
I’ll take it into consideration. Maybe I decide to do it once making a fool of myself isn’t too terrifying a thought.
What’s there to be terrified of?

I’m no good at all, I always thought golf was an old men’s sport.Â
Which is why Topgolf is a more fun variant of it.

Why would you look foolish? Because of all the golf or?
Well, yeah, unless you’re actually good, but where’s the fun in that?

Can’t say that I have. What is it?
It’s a venue with different styled golf games and a bar. Kind of like Dave and Buster’s, but with golfing games. It’s a lot of fun, especially if you don’t mind looking a bit foolish.
meghanmendes:
If there’s one thing I’ve learned running an inn, it’s that I should always keep an open mind, so I’m taking suggestions.
