“yes, yes, i know.” kit chuckled as he looked at levi from where he was laid, the man having been manipulating and assessing his legs after the last time he’d seen him. “and yes, they are new bruises. lot of rolling and using my knees, so… kind of bruised them up again. and my toes and ankles, i’ve been coverin’ some pointe work classes for cassie.” he wiggled his feet a bit and propped himself onto his elbows. “but it’s fine! really, le, i’m all good. just gotta keep taking anti inflammatory pills, right?”

as the other spoke levi just gave him a knowing look, brow arched with a bemused expression. “man, i dunno why i bother telling you anymore. you never listen to me anyway,” he chuckled, glancing over the multitude of bruises littering the dancer’s legs. “but i’m gonna tell you anyway, because its my job and i’d be kind of a shitty physiotherapist if i didn’t tell you. you’ve gotta rest up sometimes, or you’re gonna hurt yourself to the point where you can’t physically dance anymore. extreme, i know, but it’s a possibility and you and i both know how much you’d hate that.” he moved to take a seat in his chair, making a couple of notes about kit’s current state. “keep taking them to minimise the swelling and alternate with hot and cold packs when you do get chance to rest. just be careful with the anti-inflammatories. i don’t want you to get too dependent on them, ‘kay?”
