A gift from the saber was a bit of a surprise, staring intently at the gift he holds it in his hand as he looks at the giant fish. Slowly moving it around he then holds it above his head with a slight gleam in his eye. First, the Pharoah has given him a gift and now the saber, he was going to cherish every single one of these. He casually hugs it a bit and looks at the other with a kind smile.
As he knows the other is a ‘fan’ of everything he has done despite Camelot falling the other strived to follow his footsteps. That level of admiration and dedication was honestly beautiful in itself. The other might honestly be a ‘better’ king in his life than himself since he has something to strive for. But here he was giving gifts while looking so nervous as if Arthur might bite his head, it was funny.
“Thank you, I will cherish this gift,” Arthur spoke sincerely as held the fish plush planning to put it in his growing collection. A Large giant fist that was nearly his side and he loved it.

It now made more sense and if the Lancer was honest even he was aware he held himself very different from the Saber. Despite them supposedly being from the same legend it is clear that the Saber gaze held more idealism. Maybe the aches of aging weighed heavier on him, or maybe there a difference in how their essence truly is. There was more youth in the Saber but that also why he can’t help but defend it just a hint. A contrast to the other Gilgamesh that seem to bicker among themselves but maybe it because the ideals he has don’t really change.
“Even if we do conduct ourselves a bit differently I just feel it a bit unfair to act as if I am of a different breed from him.” Arthur noted, not that he even conversed with the saber counterpart in fact he felt unsure if the other felt the same. In contrast, the lancer was much more solemn and even serious in appearance compared to the younger ‘princely’ looking man. “Maybe it simply nostalgia as I can understand a lot of what he does. Which I guess the Gilgamesh’s do not feel and thus can have very varying opinions on each other.”
❝AHAHAHA! THAT IS VERY much something he would say!❞ Raucous laughter filled the space between them, the Pharaoh’s head thrown back and voice as booming as it always was. It took some time for Ozymandias to regain control of himself, his hand lifting to wipe away a tear that had collected in the corner of his eye. ❝Ah, I have not laughed like that since our shared Master said something utterly ridiculous to me. Mm, very well then. I will not look at you as if I were examining some rare gem if that brings about such discomfort from you. Even one such as I can be mannerly when the mood hits. Let us start over again.❞ Much like how he dealt with Arturia and her different selves, he would judge based on what was before him rather than what he believed should be present. The Lancer version of that woman was not like the Lion King and so forth. This was the same for this particular Arthur.
❝Tell me, how many have paused when they have seen you make your way through the halls? I imagine quite a few have turned their eyes towards you in surprise just as I have.❞ Desire to fight the other reared itself; violent in its emergence as fingers itched to call forth his staff. He wanted to test the might of the other, to see if their skill had increased as they aged normally, or if it was the same as the other. Oh, but how dull it would be to fight not against Excalibur, but Rhongomyniad instead. It would not be a recreation of his great battle in Tokyo…but that in itself could be considered appealing in its own way.
The others laugh made the Lancer chuckle just a bit because it was true the King of Heroes had such varying selves but they didn’t seem to get along.
“I think every single person I have come across has paused to stare at me to gawk,” It was the truth for he held himself up to a different appearance. Arthur knew that as much as would like to say felt there was no huge difference between him and the saber knew that wasn’t true for their appearance or how they held themselves. The Saber was reclusive yet also clearly idealistic while the Lancer had no issues showing themselves but held himself to a much higher degree. Though in an instant, the king noticed the other finger twitched as his instincts were honed from years of warring with many other kings.
His eyes narrow just a hint making it clear that he had seen the Pharoah’s hand almost reaching out for something. Though it would be a lie to claim that he held no interest in testing his strength against others. Especially of Kings and Monarchs from other far lands that he never had a chance to encounter in life. He does not reach for his own though simply straightening himself up with a wry smile. After all, it would be rude to call the other out for his itchy fingers like that and if they're anything he learned in the court it is manners.
“If you ever wish to spar I am more then eager to test my strength against yours.” He spoke calmly for he was a knight at heart. To prove their strength against strong opponents was a tenant that many knights held.

Despite the fact that they only met recently since being summoned it seemed as if Arthur and the Pharaoh have been getting along. At the very least they were on pleasant speaking terms, well that is what the Lancer had assumed.
Now he was faced with the unexpected surprise of a stuffed Lion being shoved at him with the Pharaoh looking quite proud. Was it the spur of the moment or was this planned?
Arthur didn’t think they were that close to suddenly be exchanging gifts, he was flattered and very off guard. Wondering if he was supposed to give something in return to which he was very unprepared for. Feeling ashamed of himself for having nothing to give in return as he now held the Lion plush.
“Thank... You? I must be honest I was not expecting a gift at all,” Arthur spoke sincerely feeling embarrassed. If was in his court probably would have been able to easily get something but as a servant out and about he was quite lacking. “Um- What is the occasion for this? You didn’t simply wish to give me something did you?”
That would be very altruistic of the Pharaoh, but it was hard for the Lancer to not feel a hint of delight as he looked at the stuffed animal. His thumb brushing against its mane as looks down at the cute doll. A symbol of strength and nobility that was held close and dear to himself in life now in a small package.

Some Servants did have a problem with their love/ affection, which also became a weapon for they unwilling to some and for others it were just the spirit core of their rationality. While ‘he’ did not have any of those affliction, it seemed that did not look to be the case with admiration having turned dangerous moments ago, guess that affection come become dangerous anytime…
Body stiffen a slight, to the point it momentarily shook, at the towering figure hovering over ‘he’, pulling the offered hand back, had ‘he’ done something again for the King of Knights to bore down into the young flames eyes? Words spoken and ‘he’ listen with a nervous smile that quickly open to gap like a fish out of water, at the suggestion of they working together to overcome the weakness ‘he’ had exuded early. Emotions which had been trying to contain self in a proper form suddenly overturned rationality, the hand drawn back had shoot forth once more to DARE take the King hand into own, slightly shaking it with those flickering embers in hues suddenly erupting into a flames of delight.

Serious conversation, those words addressed towards ‘he’ were meant to be a helpful advise not for they to play train with another like young lads. “He’ did not desire to further look like a fool, then already made, before the King of Knights, the tension between they had been lighten but that did not mean it were gone either. Retreating hands back to place back properly by side and once more exuding the form of a young man of the court too bad that proud, over delighted, smile could not be wiped from features.

If anything, Arthur was being quite merciful considering the circumstances but was aware as a Servant there were things of more pressing matters. As would be require to work with all kinds both the good and the bad even if personally abhors them. Which made the fact the other while being a good King of good renowned it wouldn’t bode well if both were needed but then the other accidentally strikes him in the back once more because of these distractions.
Though the others reaction had been surprising, as the Saber’s hand jolts out grabbing his own outstretched hand to shake it vigorously. With bright eyes like a little child meeting his hero didn’t seem to realize what they were doing. Arthur’s looked on in surprise at this before the other collected himself moving his hands back to his side quite quickly. Staring intently as Richard realized his behavior wasn’t very kingly and collected himself.
At the least it seemed the other did understand what he was saying even though seemed to be getting a bit ahead of himself. The Lancer shakes his head guessing that this is the most he could hope for.
“I don’t know who I am to you but I’m glad you understand.” Arthur spoke softly as honestly was flattered by Richard’s admiration though did worry about it being a problem. While didn’t seek out to make companions as allies should be able to work together.
“Saber, or rather Richard the Lionheart that is your name correct? Try to think of me as simply an ally that will fight at your side we are simply tools to fight.” He points out, while knows the master might think a bit different they weren’t human. Their lives were much more disposable compared to the masters even with their pride as kings both of them can understand their role in this. But he was a little bit curious about this Saber and wonders why he so enraptured by him.

He wanted to test their might for himself as if to further see if they were worthy of the divine weapons that had been held in those hands.
Looking at the Pharaoh bluntly saying his appearance did surprise him it was almost funny if was honest. Standing much taller then most this king allowed a almost small smile to show on his face at the others words. Knowing that in comparison to the one who had his age stopped at the age of sixteen being allowed to grow certainly changes things. But to say he bore more regalia he couldn’t help but wonder why that is the case.
“I don’t imagine my saber self is that much different then I besides the weapon we wield. It might simply be a matter of perspective that because I am fully grown I give off a more ‘mature’ image.” The Lancer muses, as didn’t need the Saber self feeling discredited just because his physical age doesn’t match his mental one.
