I grew up as a little child Was beaten up and treated so bad Didn’t know the reason I had Such a time in my life I went to school like every other child Counting numbers 1,2,3,4,5 Wasn’t even the best child that time Till now don’t know the reason why I felt alone just with mum and Dad Sometimes locked up myself and cried But one day a man walked in and smiled He said his name was Jesus Christ And I told him I wanted to be free And right there he touched me, and now I can say that…

See all I ever knew was struggle All my life I’ve been mistreated by trauma all I ever knew was trouble Trapped behind the doors of that prison and then the walls of that prison came crashing down all I ever knew was rubble I just need like 5 minutes I’m tryna catch my breath I’m tryna understand how freedom could come from death The death of one man for three days what a loss, one man three nails and a cross Sweet freedom what a cost Oh but now I’m free, I couldn’t fly once was blind once but now I see I came alive once he died and he died for me I chose the side of the one who speared his side for me I went from unbelief to faith from disapproved to grace and everything changed the moment I saw his face Now I’m faced with Grace that’s unchanging the Covid signs are gone how good this freedom be tasting, amazing
