So to answer a few questions people have about Transgenders!

Hi! My name is Lexi, and I am a male to female transgender but let’s just call me she/her because that’s what we want, right? Yes, we as transgenders do not actually want to be labeled as a transgender, we never have! All we wanted to be labeled as is she or he, that’s it! So please, when you’re referring to us do not label us as “My trans friend”. If you’re explaining to people that don’t quite understand, feel free to explain it! If not, ask your trans friend. What we want in this world is for people to understand, because how else is everyone else going to understand us? Our private things, are private. They’re considered private things for a reason and don’t need anyone else prying into it. If you’re not sleeping with them, their private details is absolutely and totally none of your business, like your private parts is to us! Respect us, and we’ll respect you. Gender dysphoria is real. Transgenders usually feel it daily. If you see a transgender suffering from this please try your best to comfort them if they’d do the same for you under depression or having an anxiety attack. Being transgender does not kill transgenders, it’s the dysphoria and the nonacceptance of people that does. Just talk to them! Recognize them for the gender they are and keep complimenting them! Trust me, it makes us feel better coming from someone else. Your opinions count, a lot. If you have any advice on appearance, please <offer> it to us, don’t push it on us. If we don’t want to advice we won’t take it, but we will love the advice if we choose to accept it! I love advice on how clothes and things look on me, because growing up presenting as a guy up until I was 18, it is difficult pushing a new fashion sense into my head. Also that’s another thing, never lie if something doesn’t look good on us. We want this world to go wow at our appearance! So your opinion counts a lot. Also, for both male and female, the first haircut matter a lot so your opinion may matter a lot as well. That’s honestly I have all to say right now!
