yes this is about samirah al abbas and what about it

- if they’re hijabi, they won’t have their hair showing

- obviously sometimes it slips, like if they’re not wearing an underpiece to hold it in place and it gets windy or something, but they’re not going to wear it with their hair showing

- same with their neck. please

- they’re wearing hijab? they’re wearing loose clothes now too

- they’re also going to wear full sleeved shirts and long pants

- general rule for shirt sleeves: four fingers of skin from the wrist up can show

- many hijabis also try to make sure their shirt is long enough to cover their butt, or they’re wearing really loose pants

- they’re not gonna wear anything form-fitting. please

this has been a psa from a disgruntled fan trying to find fanart that actually fits the rules of hijab

i’m gonna list down some cc i use when creating hijabi sims.

for simmers, when creating hijabi sims:

1. mind the cleavage, low-cut, or wide necklines, you can add accessory turtlenecks: [x] [x] [x] [x] - also works as long sleeve accessory tops

2. on the sleeves, this may vary from one hijabi to another, tho personally ¾ sleeves is fine for me as to avoid cross-contamination in my line of work. but anything above the elbow without accessory long sleeve top is a no-no for hijabi fashion.

3. for pants, some of us do wear skinny jeans but majority prefer loose-fitting pants. generally, anything loose-fitting is comfy billie eilish

4. skirts; no. we don’t wear mini skirts or skirts that is above mid-shin. even with the mid-shin length, pretty please layer a legging or tights underneath: [x] [x]

5. @aanhamdan93 has some awesome hijab cc, but more towards alpha or maxis mix. some personal favorites: [x] [x] [x] [x] [x]

last but not least, some of us do love wearing the hijab. it’s a form of self-expression, the many ways we style our hijab in our daily lives. and please, don’t put words into our mouth saying hijab is a form of oppression.
