•Colonialism
This picture is explains the effect colonialism has on everyday things such as transportation. It made the global economic justifiable to a certain extent. During the racism era, colonialism was the center of European expansion. They used this method to spread their economic and political beliefs onto other people. They classified people based on the color they are and put theirselves above other people because of "hierarchy" . This fueled the transatlantic slave trade.
•Miscegenation
If you know then ya know😅🖤🙃 #hardknocklifechallenge #interracialcoupletiktok #interracialcoupleproblems #35andup
This is an interracial couple showing and example of things they go through on a daily basis just because they are an interracial couple. Firstly no one should go through this . As the book states the "one drop of blood "rule if you have one black ancestor you are identified as black and back then interracial marriage wasn't allowed , because of interracial marriage or mixing was happening the Portuguese government did not like the interracial marriages that's why they created the "one drop" rule .
•White Supremacy
This .... is my favorite youtube channel I was so happy when i saw that this was one of the words to define. This spoken word, poetry has a strong meaning. i listened to this more than once and since it has been released on youtube it hits hard every time. It is a spoken word from the perspective of white supremacy to the black america. As black Americans we have come far and fought hard to get where we are now. This spoken word makes it easy to see and understand why white supremacy was and still is a thing. When blacks was enslaved white supremacy was widely spread around the world. It was a belief that white people was biologically different and inferior in every way .
•Jim Crow
This is a poem about how Jim crow laws are effecting the lives of people. People (blacks) are having to move from their homes in order to live a decent life. This person wants to move away from the jim crow lawed states any where but dixie and the south. The south was a place where most of the segregated schools, transportation and education were. Blacks wasn't allowed to vote and everything was separated. It was so bad that a vigilante group called the klu klux khan was made. It was a group of whites that hated blacks so much that they enforced so much violence among blacks. Lynching blacks was something that they are known for and putting fear in the eyes of blacks.
•Hypodescent
Barack Obama is a great example of hypodescent .His dad is from kenya and his mom is an american white women. He was raised in hawaï and also lived in kansas. Whites used hypodescent as a guiding line to creat boundaries between races since the time of slavery. If you were the child of an interracial or mixed man and women you were automatically assigned to the lower class. This goes hand in hand to the one drop rule because you can look white but if your great grandma was black than you are considered or listed as black on the census
•Phenotype
Phenotype is the way people look on the outside. Their physical attractions such as skin colors and hair type. Around the world phenotypes are linked to people mental and emotional health. People are quick to judge just based off the way someone look, they look at you and see a black man with one tattoo and assume that they been to jail or sell drugs when in reality he could be a business man and finished college and that tattoo was a fraternity thing. Back then phenotype was used to determine people's race but that's not the case humans move all across the globe causing skin color changes and adaptations to their environment.

This is a teddy bear more specifically his name is spirit and he was made in china one of the most busiest and crowded places. I love this teddy bear it helped me through a lot of personal obstacles. The people who made him was most likely hard working and on a labor line to support their small families. I am more then grateful for the people who made him.
Teddy bears were made in 1903, february 15,1903 by a man named Morris Michtom and his wife they owned a candy shop and got the idea from a old tv show. That portrays president Teddy Roosevelt refusing to shoot a beat in a cage and named it Teddys bear. The husband and wife both decided to put the bear in the window of the shop and kids loved it. it was originated in Brooklyn.
On February 15, 1903, Morris Michtom (1870–1938) put a teddy bear made by his wife, Rose (1867–1937), in the window of their small candy and
