jeez! another lost iPhone in Panama!

Well gosh, I haven't written much because my stupid phone was stolen. Aquick update! I'm leaving in 10 days and FINALLY I'm in the perfect host family with friends and people who really care about me. Sigh. At least I am having a great last month and I will leave happy. To some degree, I want to do my exchange over in this host family. It would have been amazing, but there's no time to have regrets. I just need to enjoy the time I have left and appreciate these amazing people. I will definitely be returning to Penonomé. It's a cute little town, kind people, and I can get to the beach or to Panama or anywhere I want really in very little time and cheaply. Another thing! I will finally be going to the CANAL (después 6 meses finalmente voy al famoso canal que risa) and to see tourist things that I haven't been able to see yet. I'm excited to spend time with my friends who live here in Penonomé and overall I'm excited to return to New Mexico sun kissed and happy 😊 IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE TO FUTURE AFS PANAMA EXCHANGERS: I found both my host families that I changed to. There are people who have been waiting months to change family. There are almost 60 of us here and almost half have changed families. I was told in the beginning of my last month that if I do any small thing, I will be sent home because I am "too much trouble" and that the director was looking to send someone home to show the rest of the students that she can. Watch out. AFS Panama really needs some major improvements. It's not nearly as bad as AFS Thailand (seriously Google it, never go to Thailand with AFS) but they aren't nearly as helpful as they are at first. Every student who has done something slightly wrong now believes that the director hates them because of how AFS reacts to any small problem (or big problems) Anyway, CHAO!! I will be posting after my canal adventure and while I'm on my way home.
