And I rock Kentucky blue on these hoes..
UK alum Tom Hammond will not only feel right at home in Lexington this weekend, but he’ll actually be back at home, serving as the NBC Sports host for Breeders’ Cup World Championships, live from Keeneland.

Good morning, Lexington! Let’s do this thing! @keeneland @breederscup #keeneland #snapchat #sharethelex #breederscup (at Keeneland)
This afternoon was a beautiful time to commemorate UK’s beginning at Ashland, Henry Clay’s estate. President Capilouto was on hand to unveil a new historic marker that shares background on the connection. Founder John Bryan Bowman resided in the house, which also included museums & offices for Kentucky University’s A&M College (which would become UK). Another building still on the grounds was a dorm for students. A building for the mechanic campus also was located at the estate, but no longer remains. To learn more about UK’s history at Ashland, check out the exhibit “To Educate the Masses,” on display through Dec.31. (at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate)
Now that everyone is all settled in, the University of Kentucky roars a Big Blue Nation to the unforgettable returning classes! Let the UK faculty and staff remind you how good it is to See Blue.
