Recently, this blog received a message — written in the style of a cease and desist — alleging that the content shared here constitutes targeted harassment, defamation, and invasion of privacy. The sender threatened potential legal action and subpoenas unless all references to Lexus Amanda were removed within 72 hours.
First and foremost:
It is unclear whether this message was sent by Lexus Amanda herself, as it did not come from a verified or official blog or account associated with her. Given this, there is a strong possibility that it was sent by someone impersonating her.
Regardless of who sent it, I want to make the following clear:
This blog exists to document and discuss the public content and behavior of Lexus Amanda — a public figure, artist, and online personality. Public figures are open to critique, commentary, and opinion under both fair use and free speech protections, especially when the material in question was shared publicly on platforms like Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram.
I do not condone harassment, doxing, or threats, and I actively avoid publishing any private details about Lexus Amanda, her family, or personal life. I’ve also clearly stated that no one should bully or harass her or anyone connected to her — including ex-bandmates, former friends, or collaborators.
Some posts are archival, others are commentary, and where speculation is involved, I try to clearly label it as such. If there’s ever anything that turns out to be factually inaccurate or strays too far from respectful commentary into potential harm, I’m completely open to editing or removing that content.
This blog was created to be a safe space for fans, critics, and observers — especially those who have followed Lexus’s career and experienced confusion, disappointment, or concern over her public actions. I do my best to answer questions with factual context, and I allow submissions that follow Tumblr’s guidelines and stay within reasonable bounds.
Expressing criticism of a public figure’s statements, choices, or behavior is not the same as harassment — particularly when it’s based on content they’ve made public themselves. I will not be silenced by vague legal threats or attempts to label public discourse as abuse.
If the real Lexus Amanda wishes to reach out respectfully and in good faith to clarify misinformation, I’m more than willing to listen. Until then, this blog will remain open and in compliance with Tumblr's Terms of Service.
This post is made in the interest of transparency. If you believe a post contains a factual error or crosses a line, feel free to respectfully reach out. I’m always open to good-faith dialogue or corrections.
