Battle Info: Cassie/Mobius
I ended up typing these as if Cassie is a video game character LOL Everyday I long for a Ben 10 dungeon crawler RPG…Â
In words, I describe Cassie’s battle style as ‘aggressively graceful centered on long range projectiles.
Cassie usage of her telekinetic powers cover a wide range multiple areas/elements such as but not limited to: Chronokinesis, Hydrokinesis, Pyrokinesis, Aerokinesis, Geokinesis, and Electrokinesis.
Basically, the premise or basis of her powers is that the more familiar she is with an element, the more likely Cassie can manipulate it.
The reason why she turned out to be an Esper and Mutant hybrid is due to generations of two groups of powerful obscure societies based on Earth trying to form ‘the perfect human’. Because of her combined DNA origins, Cassie’s powers are much more powerful compared to her predecessors. (will expand on this later)
The main catalyst of Cassie’s powers is her mind or brain. Because of this, she requires intense concentration when during combat. This also plays a reason as to why her attacks were mostly mid-range when she fought alongside Ben in OV, she had to juggle between physical and range combat. Since Cassie was kept at a long distance when she became Mobius, her attacks became much more concentrated and powerful compared to before.
One of the ways to shut down Cassie (at least temporarily) is to target then hit her forehead. Doing so will stun her for a period of time.
If she concentrates immensely, Cassie can detect the position of anyone even through walls. In a video game, this would be her passive skill that would activate if she stands still for 3 seconds (time duration can be shortened with buffs).Â
As Mobius, she likes to surprise enemies by sending out her strongest barrage of attacks almost immediately. She learned this from a certain blue skeleton in a game she used to obsessively play.Â
When she became a Chronokinesis user as Mobius, she learned to materialize small particles of time and use them as projectiles. The stronger the flow of time in an area, the more powerful projectiles she can use to attack enemies.
If hit by said projectiles, the affected opponent will have a slowness debuff for 5 seconds.
That being said, Mobius can be quite grandiose in battle to the point she will try to overwhelm her opponents by just constantly spamming large time-powered projectiles.
In a team comp, Cassie’s role would ideally be a backline support. However since she has a number of offensive skills in her arsenal, she can be a midline attacker.
In a theoretical Ben 10 rouge-like dungeon crawler game, I always HC’d that Mobius is a secret post-game boss that Ben can fight against by unlocking an area called the ‘Time Oasis’ where the flow of time is irregular and unpredictable. Of course, the fight won’t be easy since Mobius will be pulling some bs time tricks. To beat her, Ben will need to utilize Clockwork to nullify her time shenanigans, Feedback to counter her projectiles, and any alien you can think of to inflict forehead damage on her. I won’t even talk about Alien X.
