Theon Greyjoy is a music student hoping to make it big one day. For his final he has to write a song. Easy he writes songs all time. Of course now when he needs that musical brain of his to work, it's come to a halting stop. Maybe a ride in Regents Park with his trusty companion, Pyke will help clear his mind.
Sansa Stark worked as a fashion designer under the tutelage of world famous fashion icon, Cersei Lannister. Her morning began like any other at six am. She would feed her dalmatian, Lady, relax with a book, check her social media with a cup of earl grey tea in hand. Always with a splash of milk and two sugars. When Sansa finished her tea she would take Lady for a walk in Regents Park then get ready for work.
Today, fate had other plans. She wasn't expecting lady to act...well so unlady like chasing around another dalmatian named. Lady chased the other dog around twising her leash around his owner and Sansa.
"Lady! Stop this right now!" She shouted. Praying her dog would cease this madness, "Gods I'm so sorry."
Sansa was pressed up against this stranger. Her hands splayed across the navy flannel he wore. Lines of various blues and greens displayed on overlapping all over bringing out the bright apple green of his eyes. A slight stubble across his jawline and his hair look feather soft. He was like a rugged Disney prince, she thought. Sansa felt his warm hands wrapped around her waist her cheeks flushed at their predicament
"I...I'd shake your hand but well you know. Sansa Stark."
The mysterious man gazed down at her a cocky grin across his features made him more handsome. It caused her heart to flutter
"Yeah, I know. My dog's a complete fucking nutter sometimes. Theon Greyjoy. Pleasure."
The dogs were jumping and barking in unison at each other. They weren't aggressive towards one another. Quite the opposite but, they're actions cause the pink and blue leashes to wrap tighter around the owners. Theon thanked his lucky stars to be entwined with a stunning woman. Her bright red hair shined in the sunlight as if kissed by fire itself. Ocean blues staring back at him made his heart race. This morning has been hell but, being stuck with her was the highlight of Theon's morning. Looking down at Sansa, he felt like he found a piece of himself he never knew he wanted nor needed. Theon wanted to know everything anything about her. Pyke seems to like her dog so he had every intention to see this Sansa Stark again. Pyke continued to bark louder enticing Lady to do the same.
"Pyke! Chill out mate!" He commanded however, Pyke was focused on Lady ignoring Theon.
"I'm so sorry. She never chases other dogs like this. I don't know what's gotten into her."
"Well company could be worse. I could be stuck with that bloke" nodding his head over to the man sitting on bench, Inhaling his breakfast as the crumbs fell down his round belly. Sansa let out a small airy laugh, smiling up at him, "Sooo... you come here often?"
"I..." Before Sansa could answer, they began to sway left and right as the dogs continued a flirty game of chase around the owners. Both of them could tell they were moments from colliding into the ground. She could feel Theon's grip tightening around her waist.
"I'm sorry. Thought this was better than following on the bench next to us." He said using all his strength to shove them forward into the pond behind Sansa. With a shriek from Sansa they, along with Lady and Pyke fell into the pond. Theon reached for the leashes untangling the pair. He glared at Pyke who looked down knowing he was in trouble, "No treats." Pyke whined but, he ignored him opting to help Sansa up.
"Thank you." She said wringing out her fiery red hair, "at least I didn't have my phone on me."
"Fuck." Theon pulled out his phone from his jean pocket.
"My flats right there," Sansa pointed to the building across from the park, "I can dry your phone and your clothes. It's the least I could I do."
"As long as I can take you to dinner."
Theon Greyjoy never thought love at first sight existed. He can't escape the feeling that he might have experienced it. If he only knew that Pyke feels the same.
