I understand the hate on 1TL Kishiar so so much, and I do understand, in some ways, that he seems to not deserve to be with Yuder (I sometimes get upset by how Yuder still chose to accept him). However, I think part of their appeal as a couple is Yuder acknowledging the flaws, the loss, and the pains Kishiar had inflicted on him, and still seeing the truth and love that existed beyond all of that. After all, part of Yuder's character arc is acknowledging that 1TL and 2TL Kishiar are the same person, and knowing that his love for Kishiar had always existed, but had merely changed form through the different timelines.
I also think that a large appeal in Kishiar's character is his inability to be perfect in front of Yuder. As a character who's blessed with so many capabilities and traits, his flaws show up only in front of the person he loves the most. There's a certain personal lure in seeing a character so capable fall apart in front of their only exception, whether that be 1TL or 2TL Kishiar. And the more I think about it, the more I realize that Kishiar is much less perfect than I initially thought when I first read this story. I think its rather important to see that my beloved characters to have flaws even when they are green flags. It makes them human and more real.
