ETA June 2026: There have now been multiple international sources confirming that Liana Kerzner makes false reports to police in order to cause harm to people she has had a falling out with.
ETA August 2025: This blog has now heard multiple reports of Liana, through her “It’s Not Therapy” peer counselling service, speaking unprofessionally to clients AND sharing confidential client information with her personal friends. AND allowing those third parties to doxx and harass former clients. This is deeply troubling and speaks to Liana’s lack of professionalism and ethics.

ETA December 2024: I have been asked to provide a brief summary of what Liana and Steven Kerzner have done that has been harmful, so here’s a short but likely incomplete list:
*scamming crowdfunding donors out of 100K+ over multiple campaigns and lying about use of funds *stealing money that was earmarked for Epilepsy Toronto from their defunct NYE convention Futurecon, with a fraudulent smokescreen story about Futurecon failing because of a supposed “stalker” (Liana has never provided any verifiable proof of these claims beyond her own words) *having a falling out with their own family because of Liana’s paranoid delusions and the Futurecon debacle, to the extent that Liana had to be banned from her father in law’s funeral because the family was worried Liana would cause more trouble and drama *Liana herself has admitted to physically assaulting multiple people in the past, including her best friend from high school, and has stated in her Discord server (out of the public eye) that she wishes she could “punish” other women *making false police reports about multiple people including a young gay man and a traumatized victim of domestic violence, and encouraging others to lie to police on their behalf, in order to SLAPP others *instigating false and unsubstantianted legal proceedings as a means to intimidate victims into silence, many times over *Liana has lied multiple times about supposed sexual assaults and sexual harassment incidents, including lying about a convention chair in order to get him removed from his convention - which later resulted in Liana no longer being welcome at said convention *causing drama needlessly and repeatedly across multiple fantasy and sci-fi events including Keycon, Ad Astra, Polaris, E3, CNSE, and numerous other fandom events, including Liana most recently lying about and slandering Timely Feasts via Liana’s company New World Events *spreading slander and harassing a young domestic violence survivor for well over a decade, including thousands of defamatory social media posts and DMs sent about this person *harassing a young trans woman to near-suicide *getting a trans woman fired from her workplace *numerous dramatic friend breakups resulting in Youtube video attacks from Liana that are meant to defame and disparage the people Liana goes after, such as the video Liana published to slander Song W. Eretson
*grooming multiple vulnerable people (young, mental health issues, AuDHD, etc) to either work unpaid or contribute financially for the Kerzners’ benefit *sharing confidential peer counselling client information with her Discord server and with her personal friends
*repeat incidents of abusive, egotistical, and harassing behavior at multiple fandom events going back almost two decades now including verbal abuse of volunteers and harassing emails sent back and forth with convention staff, abusive and harassing voicemails being left, etc.
*so much more.

The comments from that fundraising drive are littered with donors talking about not getting their perks. You're doing the same pitch now, changing the name to newmusicnetwork.”
5) Gwillygal79 (+ Archive thread) - “And, from a first-hand source, I know not just one but several professional artists who have never been paid by the Kerzners for their work, despite being promised such.” + what’s interesting here is that Steven Kerzner aka Ed the Sock also repeats similar defamation Liana has spouted about a supposed “stalker”. You would think that if there was “a conviction of perjury” as he claims, there would be some sort of official court document that would indicate this?! ++ As far as I have seen, the Kerzners have NEVER presented evidence of any truth regarding any of these allegations.
