regarding camp hss

1. I don’t regret making it. This is something I’ve always wanted to do because I love bringing people together in a positive way.

2. I’m… not surprised… but… I’m really, truly, a through-and-through optimist, idealist, and genuinely positive person. I wanted to start camp because earlier this year I went through one of the hardest and lowest point of my life recently and figured, “maybe something fun like this will take my mind off of it.”

Maybe I was a little too optimistic and maybe loved people here a little too strong that it never dawned on me that things like this could happen. Like, not once did it cross my mind that “hey, this might cause an issue” because I was just so excited to start something fun. And it is fun! I mean it when I use the present tense “is.” Because really, when all is said and done I’m having fun and I know a majority of people are having fun and I know that Camp HSS was not a bad idea or a mistake and I feel nothing still but absolute love.

I harbor no ill will or bad feelings towards others. I am a strong believer that everyone is good, sometimes misguided, but you are all capable of being good people and I genuinely love you all and care about you and believe that you’re all good people.

I’m sorry for getting way strict and hard on people when things go south, but that is what I truly feel and I wanted more than anything to keep Camp HSS full of those positive vibes.

The rest of summer will be carried out. If there’s one thing I am, it’s determined, and I am determined to keep this event floating for as long as I can because I’ve given up on too many other things already. 

And I refuse to give up on you guys.

Does anyone else just get like really stubbornly indifferent towards a popular character?
