𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬. there are a thousand stories where she slayed the dragon or where love was enough and shadow doesn't grow when you are not looking. this is not one of them. & when they ask how she died, here is the answer: 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲. a study of padmé "amidala" naberrie from the star wars franchise created by george lucas, & here inspired by different sources ——— interpreted and written by amanda. an exploration of idealized sainthood, the aftermath of fallen democracies & what to do when your enemies are in power : 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞.
𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐞 ! a private roleplaying blog on tumblr for padmé "amidala" naberrie first established in 2012. this blog is heavily focused on developed threads and plotting. liberdie is a study on : the trauma of lost love, idealized leader figures, the creation of living myths, martyrdom & guilt in times of war and oppression — but above all things, this blog is a story of hope, love and bravery when one might need them the most.
all content here explored is freely modified, developed and explored within personal interpretations for alternative storylines and universes. most storylines are canon-based & i take inspiration from different materials centered around the star wars saga that are simply for academic and aesthetic purposes or rather, based on my own personal whims. there will be references from the films and the novelizations.
this is not a space for minors, as triggering themes will be present as well as vague mentions of sexual content. a developed study of padmé's character will include psychological trauma, the social and emotional consequences of a coup d'etat, postpartum depression, canon-compliant violence & mentions of a politically motivated massacre and an oppressive government.
this blog is plot-oriented, meaning that ( in-character ) interactions are to be discussed beforehand. i am willing to discuss different possibilities of interactions as well as pre-established relationships with any mutual follower. all possible romantic relationships that do not involve anakin skywalker will depend on chemistry and development, but will exist in a different timeline or universe than the canon storyline. that said, the fact a blog is for anakin or vader does not necessarily mean there will be a romantic thread. once again, the writing is centered around plotting and chemistry between writers and characters.
there is a standard canon-divergent storyline following the character of padmé after revenge of the sith (2005), in which she survives the events of mustafar and after publicly faking her death to protect her children, goes into hiding on the planet of tatooine with obi-wan kenobi ( @trajedis ) as her bodyguard and future teacher of the twins. in there, padmé must recover from her physical as well as psychological wounds from a traumatizing childbirth. other verses set after the events of revenge of the sith are based on padmé as a stagnant memory in the force, a haunting of the narrative.
there is no need for competitiveness in this environment. this is a most extensive fandom with several popular characters that have been invented and reinvented infinitely. i don’t mind the presence of duplicates of my own muse following me nor do i have any issues with my writing partners interacting with other blogs for padmé amidala. i am also open for interactions with other interpretations of her, as in a thread between padmé & another blog for her. there could be several threads with the same person ( including various different scenarios ) or with one or two different portrayals, but never the same dynamic or scenario. i am, at least for now, not limiting my following to a single interpretation of one muse unless any of my writing partners asks it of me.
i also reserve the right to unfollow anyone at any point if i am no longer comfortable with ( or interested in ) their presence on my dash. all blogs that have been inactive will be soft-blocked unless a hiatus has been previously announced. threads that i have little to no muse to reply to will be dropped and messages that have gone for too long sitting in my inbox will be deleted. all mutuals that have not approached me for plotting after a certain period upon following will be soft-blocked. any writing partners should feel free to drop any threads they don't feel like continuing without needing to talk to me beforehand. this is a hobby, there is no reason for it to feel like any sort of obligation or for people to demand thinhs from one another.
other than that, i am not interested in any drama regarding the roleplaying community online. i do not condone anonymous hate, vague posts or groupchat gossip. my name is amanda, a 25+ brazilian writer and translator. this blog will work mostly on sporadic activity, i take my time when replying — however, don't let this prevent you from approaching me ! i'm always interested in new threads as well as new dynamics with anyone i follow.
