Resting in Peace

Misfortune guided them, and they ascended past themselves to a place not known to society, nor to nature. They left their bones behind to decay, for the life was gone from them. Understanding filled their beings and they perceived they were no longer in a world that was familiar to them. This was their new reality, their new home. And they were at peace with it all.
