âNot a problem in the least bit.â Would be responded back with a wave of a hand and a gentle laugh. âI do hope you like it.â Then a hum emits. Own pair of chopsticks being moved into the proper position before moving into the bowl of food.
"Hm." he nodded with a light mumble, splitting said chopsticks before doing the usual gesture. "Thanks for the meal." Carefully setting the bowl on his lap, he started to pick up some noodles, slowly sipping it into his mouth. Then while chewing on them, he drank a bit of the soup.Â
"It's good." While simple, it's sincere, for Youji, all the more with his condition, will not hesitate to tell the truth as to whether something tastes bad or good.Â

So the "Red Road" ending is the true ending of the game. Well, at least they died willingly and together. While still tragic, I'd rather have that than the other five endings.Â

âYes, Ramen.â Yuki confirms before setting down two bowls that had been used to heat up the food before digging in a bag slung over shoulder to pull out two sets of chopsticks. âIâve got you covered.â
When he watched the bluenette take out the bowls that held said meal, he could immediately smell the aroma. It elicited an unusual response: stirring his appetite. Though only by a little it still meant something.Â
"Ah, thanks." he said in the form of a slight mumble before taking one of the pairs.Â
"I brought.. Ramen today. Heated it up in the microwave. Hungry?"
"Ramen?" It has been a while since Youji ate ramen, and he was surprised that he would be getting it from another person instead of buying it himself. But then again, he should have expected it from the first person who openly offered food without any ulterior motives.Â
"Uh, sure. I donât mind. But I donât have any chopsticksâŠ"Â
She watched him, wanting to make sure he didnât simply pretend to eat the treat. It didnât seem like he had the motivation to fool her though. Her hand glided over to softly pat his back reassuringly with her kind smile and a nod as well.
"Good, good. Is there anythinâ else? Youâre tired too, right? You donât have to say anything, so just relax and breathe."
Ever so gently she had begun rubbing his back with the palm of her hand in a circular motion. When she was a child, whenever there were days where she or Ruby felt sick, Mama would always rub their backs like this to soothe them, to make their nausea go away. Even though Sora had no idea what was wrong with the boy, the fact he looked the way he did told her anything to help him would be greatly appreciated.
Looking from side to side, Sora wondered if there was anyone else walking around that had noticed them. From the looks of it, there wasnât a one. It was disappointing, a sad thing that none would have noticed him in his condition. If she hadnât been passing by, would he still be standing? Or would he have collapsed to the ground in his discomfort? The thought of it put a damper on her spirits. People could be so cruel.
Or perhaps she was being unfair in believing such a thing.
"Iâll stay with ya as long as you need âtil you feel better~"
Not used to such a flavor, he nearly cringed from how sweet it is, even though it wasn't the kind of sweet that would hurt his throat. Yet he slowly got used to it, and chewed on it a bit more until he could swallow it. He mouthed his gratitude to the girl as she gave him a bit more comfort, since he still felt a bit too weak to speak up.
At the question of whether he has other needs, he lightly shook his head. He just simply needed a place to relax, and she did a very good job in helping him settle in one. It happened a few times before as well; whether he had eaten some food or not, he would suddenly feel groggy and faint. Yet it was rare where people are completely willing to lend a head; mostly because he would usually refuse it.Â
Such a burden had been placed on his body for years, and he didn't want it to be a burden to other people. This doesn't make him a pushover; but Youji is that reserved of a man.Â
Just to check, he looked at the girl, and she appears to be looking around. Why she'd do such, he can't say at first glance. But if he looked a little closer, she might be looking for someone who can offer him much more reliable assistance. Though he really didn't need it; the help he got is more than enough, and he doesn't wish to be confined again lest he would miss another year of school.Â
"Th-thanks." he muttered, closing his eyes to breathe a bit more properly. He didn't want to lean on her too much for support. Nevertheless, he does feel grateful. And for now, he just simply wants a bit of rest before he could properly voice his gratitude to her once again.Â

From where she stands she cannot observe his expression - something important for figuring out how a person feels. His voice though she hears it rather lethargically and quietly in comparison to the voices that usually surround her - seems to hint some sort of happiness. Or maybe she is imagining it, wanting to hear it instead of truly hearing it. After all, not everyone holds an attachment to creatures as she does. Some may even see them as food - simple, basic, food.
"I believe so, thereâs not many whom pay attention to them. Especially as this is such a remote area," she says as she takes another step closer to the quiet male.
"But as this is an area that most people do not visitâŠwhat brings you around?"
Curiosity sprinkles her tone; she does not mind visitors in small spurts bringing her a sense of distraction from the poisoned tongues of her thoughts. However, usually she finds them slowly maneuvering their way around the temple gardens. It is rare to visit them in the depths of the nature surrounding her shrine.
It was because this area is quite secluded, is why Youji would come here. Whilst he is not anti-social, he does struggle almost everyday in maintaining a simple interaction with almost anyone. Yet he wouldn't mope about it; he would immediately find things that could give him comfort, even when in solitude.Â
"That's true. Though it might be better that way." The more peaceful the surroundings, the more hospitable it would be for these animals. He wished that the same would have gone for him. For even if as of the moment, he has all the time to himself, it didn't come without having to lose something, and someone, dear.Â
The peace he wanted is something that didn't demand lives in such a harsh manner. Perhaps it's why he feels a stronger sense of serenity with animals.Â
Once he was asked for his purpose in coming here, he didn't answer immediately, letting a few seconds pass by. "I was taking a walk. I needed some air." And that was all he said; for he was unaware of the shrine nearby. Though this is his home, he still had a lot of ground yet to cover; especially when, time and again, he would be secluded in one place.Â
