Continuing my 2000s anime series with two of my favorite boyos ~

hand jumper is really good in how it portrays Sayeon has very smart, but more importantly, wrong

she believes that she can change the system once shes reached the highest rung in the ladder, not realising that she is already becoming like everyone else in a position of power

the aberrant corps trains people to be ruthless and heartless, because if they aren’t, and don’t prioritise their own survival above everything else, they will die. That is what the corps is designed to do.

this is all to say that people who are smart can be suckered into cult like mentalities just as easily as everyone else

Nightmarish panels aside, I think Snake has a FIRE character design. Her two piercings underneath her mouth remind me of a snake’s fangs, especially when her mouth is closed!

I’m so glad we finally got another red essence aberrant as well. Based off these panels, I think she had the ability to stretch, extend and twist her limbs in ways that are far unnatural (with the properties of rubber and gum hehehehehehehe). What do you guys think?

it is genuinely hilarious how the Hand Jumper fandom keeps collectively forgetting Doyeon Lee. every single time i see a "Lee family" edit or post it's ALWAYS Sara, Samin and Sayeon. it's like the exact opposite of when fandoms get really annoying about male characters to the point of overlooking the women. no one gaf about that man. he contributed a wee bit to the existence of his fab daughters and then died. their ma perished a bit later too but SHE'S constantly haunting the narrative so still seems to be extremely plot relevant. meanwhile the only thing i remember about him is that only two people cried at his funeral and his wife wasn't even one of them
