Phanbus 2nd anniversary booklet translation.
Disclaimer: This is from Phanbus 2nd anniversary event survey, where fans submitted their answers to various questions. The theme was something like ‘What if Phanbus characters were your classmates’. You can treat these as a sort of interview with Phanbus’ classmates.
Also, I guess these should be treated as fan headcanons that were published officially. This is NOT written by Neoshoco herself.
Also took a bit of liberty with some of these.
In case it’s not clear, if it’s worded similar to this:
Zaki. Let's form a music club and practice after school for hours!
it means that the fan wants to do the action together with said phanbus character etc.
Q1 Who is most likely to achieve great things in the future?
Koreshiki. In the future, I bet he’d be on TV and in newspapers every day, which are covering all his awards and such. He'd even get his own research institute, surpassing the modern university professors. He might even discover new cells and save the world.
Koreshiki comment: You all are talking too big...
President. It’s like he’d end up becoming the Prime Minister.
Tamon. He would form a band with group members all wearing masks and go on a world tour
Mogari. He’d end up well-known as the super physically powerful big eater medium exorcist in the variety shows.
Q2 Who do you think was the fastest in elementary school?
Mogari. Because he was raised in the wild. And he's got that monster stamina. And he's a musclehead to boot.
Mogari comment: Are you praising me or making fun of me!?
Fuku. He'd say something like 'Let's run together!' but end up ahead taking first place.
Usami. I bet he’s seriously training his leg muscles because he believes that being fast would make him popular.
Nika. He looks like he HAS to be fast if he doesn’t want his image to crumble.
Q3 Who would you be happy to sit next to?
Mogari. I want to put out desks together and share textbooks with him, tease him as he sleeps during the classes, laugh as he's eagerly eating his lunch before it's even lunchtime. And then we'd get scolded together when the teacher finds out. We'd show our test scores and laugh, yelling 'So low!'
Mogari comment: Tell me the answer when the teacher calls me!
Koreshiki. He 100% would secretly tell me the answer when the teacher calls me and I don't know what to say.
Zaki. I want to geek out discussing the characters we doodled during the class.
President. I want to keep observing him until he cracks down and shows his true self!
Q4 Who would you want to sing next to you in a choir competition?
Tamon. I would sing as quiet as possible and just listen to Tamon's singing next to me.nSince he's good at singing, it would be easy to tune in. Oh but he'd vomit too, lol.
Tamon comment: I might not be able to meet your expectations...
Mogari. He's so loud, he’d completely drown out my own terrible singing.
Zaki. Let's form a music club and practice after school for hours!
Koreshiki. I want to do the shouting parts together!
Q5 Who do you think is the best at making ramen?
Tamon. I can totally see him wrapping towel around his head while draining noodles. And for instant noodles, he'd add stir-fryed vegetables. And people who are good at singing are good at making ramen too.
President. Since it's the president, he'd do his best at making ramen as well!
President comment: Why is the student council associated with ramen!?
Usami. His looks just scream ‘I work at a ramen restaurant’. I’d totally believe it if he leads a happy ramen life.
Yotsuya-chan. People who like to eat are usually great at cooking too, right?
Q6 Who's taking the longest baths, in your opinion?
Zaki. I bet he’s following the routine Hikaru-chan taught him. He's probably spending all his time in the tub because he's too lazy though. He's definitely watching anime or reading manga too!!!
Zaki comment: It's none of YOUR business!
Koreshiki. Is the type to light candles or throw in rose petals, and read books looking ~all refined~. He's planning out phanbus next activities.
Yotsuya-chan. Probably takes a long time with her long hair care routine and takes her time bathing to speed up her metabolism.
President. He's totally agonizing like 'Uwaaaaaah!' while reflecting on his day.
Q7 Who's mostly likely to keep ignoring their smartphone notifications?
Zaki. Probably thinks he has already replied. Seems to be the type to ignore unread messages. Oh, he's def an offender who ignores messages. Zaki comment: Replying is too much of a hassle.
Mogari. Has lots of notifications since he's following lots of official accounts.
Nika. He's mostly likely ignoring everyone but President Ichimiya.
Noir-sensei. Has a smartphone but I can’t really see him using it at all.
Q8 Who's taking the longest doing their morning routine, in your opinion?
Koreshiki. A British man simply cannot start his day without drinking tea in elegance. His orderly routine could be the model of all of humanity.
Koreshiki comment: Oh, it's nothing special and obviously I drink tea.
President. I bet he's spending a lot of time looking into the mirror and telling himself, 'I am perfect'. And every morning, he measures his height to see if he has reached 170cm.
Ren. I think he spends his mornings taking care of his plants, which he named. The names are probably something like 'Taro'.
Yotsuya-chan. Naturally girls take their time!
Q9 Who do you think believed in Santa the longest?
President. He'd look out of the window until drifting into dreamworld. And he'd always fall asleep at his usual time and regret it the next day. He probably believes in Santa even now.
President comment: I don't believe in Santa! (Waaah, Santa isn't real!?)
Ren. 'I've never received any presents, but I heard good children do receive them'. I can totally see him thinking something like this. [I guess the implication is that Ren doesn't think he was a good kid to get presents]
Mogari. Even now, he believes that if he behaves, Santa will come with presents.
Noir-sensei. Might mention how he had drinks with Santa in some Nordic country.
Q10 Who's mostly likely to dote on children, in your opinion?
Tamon. I can imagine him gently holding a crying child to soothe them. He's definitely gonna be a great dad! Especially if he has a daughter. Seems like he'd be able to take care of 2 or even 3 children.
Koreshiki. He'd focus on the task, absorbing all knowledge from libraries and bookstores.
Usami. It's easy to picture him playing tag with elementary school kids at the park.
Usami comment: President, I'm better with kids than Nika!
Botan. He'd become a dad who casts curses bringing misfortune on men getting along with his daughter.
Q11 Who's most likely to wait for you if you are late?
Tamon. He'd say, "I just got there too". But in reality he'd be worried if he got the meeting place and time wrong. He'd wait all night long.
Tamon comment: I'll be waiting, but do contact me in any case, okay?
Mogari. He'd doze off at the meeting place. Actually, it's more likely that he'll be the one who's late.
Koreshiki. While waiting, he'd drink black tea at the cafe.
Fuku. He'd wait as long as it takes. It's actually kind of scary how he isn't even a bit angry.
Q12 Who do you want to spend the school trip with? Where do you want to go?
Mogari. I want us to go to place where you can eat while walking around! I'll give food I couldn't finish to Mogari. I want to buy matching weird creatures keyholders as souvenirs. We'd barely make it back to meeting time, dashing full force!
Mogari comment: Let's go buy a wooden sword!
Koreshiki. It'd be fun to learn all sorts of things from him, I bet he’d be the one guiding me around.
Ren. I wanna watch as he interacts with mascots at Disneyland/theme parks.
Phanbus. I wanna play summer water sports with everyone on Okinawa!!!
Let's charge into Botan's shop in Kyoto. I want to see his displeased grumpy face as he's forced to be a tour guide!
Q13 Who would you ride a bike with?
Mogari. I want to talk while we are riding along the seaside. He'd go crazy speed down the slopes. It'll be like a roller coaster.
Mogari comment: Hold onto me...Gonna get speedy for real.
Tamon. I wanna go down a slope while singing a tune together.
Noir-sensei. He'd say something like 'You know, this is against traffic laws. So this is between you and me', while giving a safe ride. [if you don't know, this is about how riding two people on one bike is against the rules]

Q14 Who would you borrow a deodorant from after PE?
Yotsuya-chan. I wanna giggle and say something like 'What a nice scent~!' You can't doubt a girl who worked hard to become cute.
Yotsuya comment: I am interested in what Rinrin-senpai uses.
Rinrin-senpai. Seems like she'd give me something crazy expensive that doesn’t even look like one. Some luxury item.
Zaki. I want a situation like when he's giving me some stuff from Hikaru-chan with a quiet 'Mhm'.
Botan. Seems like he'd lend me a deodorant but will make sure to remind me about the cost at every moment.
