Anyone else just sitting there, crying to the playlist they made while playing Duskwood because they realize Jake isn't real?
Okay, so I just finished playing Episode 10 and now I feel kinda empty
Spoilers ahead
Does anyone wanna talk about the last two sentences in the video
'In the end, everything will be fine'
'If it isn't fine, it's not the end'
I think that might be a hint to the sequel.
Maybe, things will be explained and cleared at the start or once we meet some friends from Duskwood there.
Like a revision, except we're hearing it for the first time.
And btw, I really hope that Jake's returning.
The thing I fear most about this new game is that there might be a new love interest that I'm supposed to pursue while I'm still there wanting Jake to return
Letters to Eren
I couldn't bear seeing you that way.
This is gonna become a thread, where I'll be adding a new poem to from time to time. I wrote all of these while trying to imagine what AoT characters' final words to Eren would be. Some of it might be a bit different than how the story unfolded though, because I wrote these before reading the Manga, just based off the spoilers I was given by TikTok. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy
I would like to let you go the easy way, but I don't think I ever could, 'cause even though we were constantly fighting and even though I might have hated or envied you, deep down I knew it was all because I cared.
I couldn't bear seeing you that way.
I couldn't bear seeing the boy who sought freedom become the villain of his own journey.
Sometimes I think about all the ways this could've possibly ended. Back then I would've never imagined this outcome and as much as I hate to say this, I kind of miss those days, miss you. Our bickering and our fights, our little sweet moments, everything.
It hurts to know this is all gone now. I'm writing all of this down at the moment so I can feel a connection to you one more time and feel as though you're still with us.
Your young self would be so happy seeing the world you left behind. The new era of freedom you created. The freedom you were babbling on about so desperately. You finally achieved it. As your friend, I am and secretly always have been proud of you and as your friend, I have one last request.
If you meet Marco up there, could you tell him that I never forgot him and have always been and forever will be grateful to have had a friend like him? That he will always hold a special place in my heart and that I fought on to fulfill the dream he had never been able to?
As I am standing at your grave, I mourn not only your death, but the death of all those I held dear.
To the boy who sought freedom, goodbye.

I don't have a single clue how to start this letter. Eren, you were... complicated. And annoying, and overly confident, and just so obsessed with freedom.
I think that over time, you grew more and more dull, numb, emotionless, uncaring, unfazed. At least on the outside.
Just like me.
And that's when I realized, you must have many choices in life, you regret, just like me. You became distant, cold, some would even say, a bratty asshole and most of all, you became a mass murderer.
I'm not writing this to judge you now, though. I mean, it's the same with me. I've killed a lot of people, some innocent, some cruel. But they were all just people in the end. People I killed.
And I think you know that too. Your victims were just people. No matter what kind of lives they lived or what kind of decisions they made. Because, no matter what our lives were like, we all come and go the same. I like to think, death makes us even. So I'm a bit jealous of you.
You get to die a free person and I gotta live a caged monster.
I just hope we meet again soon, that is if I die someday, finally. Isn't it ironic, how I'm the oldest in the group and still survived you all?
To be honest, I miss you. I miss everyone. All my friends, my team, my mother, Erwin and all of you brats.
Before you go on, living out your freedom now, promise me this one thing: You all have to be there, when I finally come over, okay?
So, lastly...
To the boy who sought freedom, goodbye.

The beach.
The dream of seeing it and experiencing the freedom outside of the walls had always been a dream we shared. I never knew why you were so obsessed with freedom until I had it for the first time. That moment at the beach, we all felt that way. We were happy, everyone was smiling.
Everyone except for you.
Because your idea of freedom far exceeded ours and back then I didn't get it to be honest. I'm not even sure I get it now.
You were unique. I've known since the day we first met. You were different, impulsive, wild, desperately searching for freedom. I was fascinated by you, your attitude, your smile, your fire. I felt connected to someone for the first time. Our friendship is something I cherish more than my own life. Since that day at the beach, you changed.
The fire in your eyes burnt out. The flame I was drawn to like a moth, the fire so warm and wild, it all was suddenly gone. I didn't recognize you anymore. And that scared me. I thought I'd lost you and turns out I wasn't wrong.
You're gone now and there's a huge gap inside my heart that can never be filled again. Even so, I still feel the connection of our souls because to me, you were a soulmate. Someone who understood me blind. I know you did this for us. I'm grateful and I miss you. I hope you have found peace and freedom. I hope you can be free as a bird and fly to heaven.
To the boy who sought freedom, goodbye.
Armin Arlert
My dear Eren,
Not only were you my dearest friend, no, I also loved you. Even though you might never have realized or thought I did, that's what I feel - that's what I've always felt - for you. I cherished every moment I had with you. From the moment you wrapped that scarf around me, the one I held close, like a treasure of unknown worth, to the moment I kissed you on your cold, dead lips.
It hurt.
Every moment, every choice you regretted, every harsh one, all the cruel things you've done. It all had to come to an end. Your heart needed a rest just as much as your body and mind. And I was the one to give that rest to you. Sometimes, I still wonder if that was really the right choice to make. Was there even a right choice?
Eren, wherever you may be now, I hope you found what you had always been looking for, what you had been willing to break my heart for, what you longed for so much, you gave your life, so all of the ones you held dear could also experience it. Yes, I hope you finally found freedom. And I hope that freedom will let you watch over me once more.
I hope you're happy as you can be up there. I hope you can see the sky, the beach, the trees and walk on clouds. I hope you don't miss me as much as I do you.
You don't deserve to suffer anymore. You deserve to be happy. And free. And I don't want to bind you to anything now that you've finally broken free of your chains.
So, one last time: I love you.
To the boy who sought freedom, goodbye.

Please I need to know where the Jessy photos specifically is
Okay, so, first off, I'm sorry for the late reply! I don't come on here as often as I used to. Secondly, it's a town called Münsterplatz in Villingen, Germany. There's an inner and an outer part of the city, separated by a road and it looks like a huge circle. All the photos Jessy took are from the inner part of the city. Hope that answers your question
Reblog this post if you wanted to learn Ethical hacking or more about IT after playing Duskwood.
It's happening! Aaaaaaah, okay, it's hapoening very soon!
Another meme I was thinking of making for a long time now. Hope you enjoy!
Oh my god, the new episode's coming out soon 😍😍😍
You literally cannot tell me this song doesn't perfectly sum up Lucio's backstory. Like, even the beetles and all that.
Duskwood Ep 6 -Small Talk w/Jake
Guys, I am DYING of curiosity!!! 🙈
In episode 6, when you can have the small talk conversation with Jake, one of the topics you can bring up is that you’ve been wondering what would happen if Jake was behind Hannah’s disappearance after all.
When I played, I chose the option ‘but I quickly pushed that thought away.’ But there’s another option where you can say ‘but I wouldn’t care.’
Has anyone chosen that option?? What does Jake say? I’m just so curious!!!
Really REALLY tempted to replay the game to choose different dialogue options (and of course to talk to Jake in general), but also hesitant to get stuck on those minigames if/when the new episode comes out. 🙈
The screenshot is in German so I'll just translate it. He says "Please don't say that"
And that's actually all he responds if you choose that option.
Hope that clears things up for you @dreamer-writer-fangirl
I call it "I have fallen (for you) Reki and I can't get up" - and yes, this IS a Langa fanart - and yes, that IS a slight see-through black croptop he's wearing.
Development for Episode 8 has finally started!
Mystic Messenger Angst Post
So there's this theory that not only Seven but also Zen loves you in every route. That theory is based on Zen's psychic dreams as well as that one ending on the April Fools DLC. Plus, he really cares for you, especially on Jumin's Route. There's a YouTube video that talks about that theory more. If I find it, I'm gonna add it later.
Anyways, I found this picture on Pinterest:
This image plus Shadow by Sam Tsui. Suffer with me!!
Jake: I don’t like it
MC: you don’t like anything
Jake: I like sleep and you
MC: Why don't we combine those two? 😏
